JCO721 - no we havent heard back yet... my sisters planner is still trying to get her.
My friend who is fluent in spanish hasn't translated the email that we want to send yet... once she does we will try that and see if that helps...

I think most pple have had better luck over the phone but my spanish speaking friend cant call long distance from work.

I haven't gotten an e-mail back, either. My FH's mom may have to call down there for us - she speaks fluent Spanish.

Keep me posted on all your updates with this, ladies!

Sorry, I posted half my answer above. :o)

We are actually having a pretty small gathering (MAYBE having our parents with us and a few family members, at most) so we're not having a formal reception. We probably won't be doing anything with resorts, though. The little boutique hotels in PDC have gotten really good reviews through Tripadvisor, and there is a nice review here by superez - she was married at the chapel too.

Spoke with Rosa yesterday and they said they have been offline for the past week and will try and get online today. If you could call them that would be best. Their hours are 10am-2pm EST.

Lol she emailed me today and said in so many words "I have received your email"

Ugh how about my money and my deacon's documents? Argh so frustrating.

Check out this link for restaurants right on 5th Avenue. They are all within walking distance.

Thanks, poohshek! I'm sure many of us will find this info handy! I heard La Casa del Agua is good.

I am reviving this because some things have changed on my end. My deacon can no longer make it for personal reasons so now I have to find a priest who can speak english and also verify if they are available on the date/time I originally booked.

Which priest are you guys all using? What times was he available to do the wedding? What is the cost?

              Thanks

                Hi,
WC yazmin de la mora is taking care of EVERYTHING. Her fee is 475 usd. She offers three different english-speaking priests for 200-250 usd.
                Good luck!
