silly pedicure question

They do a french pedicure. You nails do need to be a little bit long for them to look right. The first few days are awesome!

I would recommend that if you are doing it for your wedding, to have your toes done there or go with a polish. The sand kind of buffs away the polish or it can chip. At least mine did.

You can get acrylic toenails. My nail person said that they really hurt though. And most people would come back to have them taken off after a few days.

I've heard that some places won't do acrylics on toes because if they get and stay damp, they are prone to funguses and other icky stuff.

Take a good top coat (reapply EVERY day) and the same white polish to touch up and you should be fine.

They can do ANYTHING these days with mani and pedi, especially pedis. The french is usually natural, and yes anything extra acryllic, crystal, etc will hurt a little bit. I would as Erin said, grow your nails slightly longer so the french tip can be applied better and do it there--schedule your spa apointment.

I love the french pedi also! My nail tech never does acrylic on my toes. It's actually not very hard for them just to paint your toe nails french & it looks really nice!!

As far as how long in advance before your wedding, I would want to do it the day before or even the day of just so it last longer.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
