Did anyone bring Glow in the dark necklace, bracelet etc on the plane with them? We thought they would be good to give to the kids in their OOT bags but FI is nervous they may break since they would be checked in our luggage.

How many did you plan on bringing? Could you bring them in your carry on/purse? Is he afraid of them actually breaking and leaking everywhere or is he afraid the glow will be gone?

those things are pretty tough. the plastic is very thick so it would take a lot for it to break so much that it leaks. if anything it might get cracked so it starts glowing before you want it to.

keep them straight and then wrap them in a towel? or if you really want to be careful, cling wrap them then a towel. but like i said i highly doubt they'll break enough to leak

I bought the kind the you have to bend to activate at the dollar store. I put them in our checked baggage and they were fine.

Yup, just keep them straight and put them in a freezer bag just in case. they should be fine.
PS, we had glow in the dark ice cubes at our wedding and they were a HUGE hit. So you might want to bring some for the adults too! :)
