Hi there...all the way from Scotland.!

 

We have just returned from Cancun Mexico where we had our recent wedding blessed and photos taken.

We were put in touch with a Cancun photographer by a bride whom i started chatting to on trip advisor. She has used the photographer and recomended her to me.

The pictures are beautiful and she took us to a deserted beach.....even some of the locals i mentioned it too did nt know where it was. I requested via emails before travelling that i wanted a quiet beach and the blue sea...she delivered both!

 

Our photographer is called Luz Maria Avila and she is based in Cancun. I have her email and web address if anyone wants it.

She was patient and very easy to work with...all this coming from someone who hates getting pictures taken!!

I must admit that whilst we were in Cancun we witnessed 2 weddings and i am so please Luz took us away from the crowded beach that the 2 cpls got married on. They had no privacy and when getting their wedding pictures done there were drunken holiday makers in background!!

We got 3.5 hours photography,100 6x4 photos in a stunning album, a copy of the dvd slide show and all the proofs on disc for $650.

I cannot praise her work enough!

For anyone getting married in april, we are sharing a photog with another bride at the barcelo, but they would go to other resorts. Contact Artistique Photographie for pricing and availability but they are great and its 2 photogs instead of one. They are really affordable and do beautiful work.

Hi Ladies

 

I started this thread a long time ago, after I had booked Dreams Cancun for my wedding this past January and was doing a lot of research to find the best possible photographer! Well I found him and he was AMAZING. His name is Jeremy Gilliam and he is from Dallas. He flew to Cancun for our wedding and was there for 8 hours and captured all moments of our wedding and reception. I recieved over 1200 amazing pictures from Jeremy and he also just put us up on his website:

Check them out and definitely contact Jeremy if you like his work. I truely enjoyed having him photograph us. And I loved that we had him there all day and got all of the pictures.
