Dominican Republic Brides~ POST HERE!

Thank you Edyta! I am also looking at the forum for Cabo and there is no need to send me infor regarding WC but thank you very much for the offer anyway.

The airfare to CAbo or DR from Chicago is almost the same. I don't know why! Personally I like the Mexican people in general since most speak English and they are so friendly. I will be going to Cabo in April to attend a friend's wedding so I would be able to see the water at the Hilton Hotel. If you need anything from CAbo please let me know. I know your wedding is in May so you may have some last minute things please let me know.

TAke care!

The majority of the resort employes speak English very well in PC as well. I have also heard that they are very friendly also, which is something else to consider.

I still toss the option of going to Mexico around also, but we have really wanted to go to PC, so who knows... so many decisions!!

I've also been trying to get information about Paradisus Punta Cana - with not much luck - hopefully I'll hear something soon.

No problem, I am glad I could help!! We have not booked Excellence yet because it is a bit early yet.

As far as Paradisus PC, I had heard that they no longer do weddings, but I unfortnately can not remember where from, sorry!

My only concern is that the Punta Cana area will not have enough activities for all of my guests for a whole week. I know if I spend 7 days in the pool I will be fried and sick!! Who knows!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
