I am going to get married in Punta Cana in December (travel dates 21-28 ) and am just booking as our last location fell through!!! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!! Anyone know a great wedding agent from Canada?

I am getting married on Monday, April 16th at the Majestic Colonial Resort in Punta Cana.

Hi Mel and Welcome!!! the Majestic is a beautiful resort great choice...and it's a great beach spot aswell because it's a bit out of the way from the other resorts so not too many people are going to be on the beach while ur taking ur wedding pics..

Hi ladies,

I as well am now looking at a DR wedding (October 200. I initially thought I wanted to go to Cabo/Mayan but in the interest of my guests, I think the DR is more reasonable. I've heard the beaches are just a beautiful as Mexico... maybe just not as much to do off the resort - which I don't think will be a problem with a large group.

I'm just in the process of trying to get wedding info for different resorts - I would love to hear from anyone that has any ideas/suggestions as well.

welcome ladies punta cana is absolutely beautiful i've stayed there twice once at sunscape the beach (which offers onsite weddings and they have a beautiful gazebo but it doesn't look over the ocean)

and in september my FI and I stayed at the bavaro princess which also has onsite weddings and a gazebo overlooking the ocean (this resort is HUGE set on 92 acres) i would only recommend to stay in the VIP section of this resort...but they did have some amazing restaurants...if u like more info please Private Message me

 

i would stay again at the sunscape but not so much as the bavaro...other beautiful resorts in punta cana where i would consider for weddings are

 

- majestic colonial

- paradisus palma real

- excellence punta cana if ur group is all adults

 

but there are so many amazing places in punta cana u can't go wrong...good luck and happy planning!!
