LOL, thanks for all the babysitting offers!! I try to get most of my planning during nap time now a days!
The biggest problem I am having is picking a destination. I was really leaning towards Jamaica, but now seeing so many Mexico brides Im wondering if this is a better option. How did everyone pick their destination, because I am totally stuck!!

Hi!! I'm 99% sure I"ll be a Jamaica bride too, April 2008 though! We're trying to decide between Ocho Rios & Negril. What areas are you looking at? Our top runner right now is the Riu Ocho Rios.
Married April 4, 2008 at the Riu Ocho Rios!

Welcome, there are many wonderful locations to get married. This forum started off as a cabo forum and grew from there, that's prob the reason why you see so many Cabo brides. Let us know if you have any questions and we'll be glad to help where we can.

I feel your pain! Picking a resort is hard work! We've been researching for a few months now...I was 99% decided on the Dominican Republic, then I found this forum and all these Mexico brides are tempting me to change our location! But I think we're going to confirm a resort soon... I hope anyway! Good luck! If you're interested in the DR I've done tons of research.

Welcome! You are right, finding the destination and choosing a resort will be the hardest part. After that I think it gets more fun!
I've been to Jamaica and it's a wonderful place, but if you want to hear more ideas just let us know!

I was looking at the Riu Ocho Rios as well. It looks beautiful! We also were looking at The Grand Bahia Principe. Ive emailed both for info on weddings but have yet to recieve any! If you have any info would you mind sending some my way? shepherd.laura@gmail.com

I would also love to recieve some info on the DR. I do not know too much about it, so any info would be great.
Thanks ladies! This board is great because you are all so wonderfully helpful!

Thanks for the pictures!! It looks beautiful. My only complaint (and I know this is something that will happen at most resorts) is that its not private and that anyone can just walk up and watch. My sisters BF was married in Curacao and they had all these people walking up in bathing suits watching. I was hoping for something a bit more private. I wonder if they have a private area at the resort?
