Group BD Shoot for NYC/NJ Brides?

Hi Ladies,

 

I know that someone else had this up before but it booked up quickly...

So, in my process of trying to find an affordable BD photographer; I have found that group rates are so much better!!!

 

I am currently speaking to the following and am open to having the shoot done either in NYC or NJ; whatever the concensus is...

 

Kamila Harris Photography - Boudoir

So far she has open March 13th and 14th for up to 5 girls.

****RECESSION SPECIAL!!****

Groups of 3-5 get all of the below for $400 per person

Group sessions are individual private shoots staggered throughout the day.

Room rental up to $150

Beverages and snacks

Makeup artist/hair stylist

Approximately 2 hours of photography

An average of 150 photos, about 7 outfit changes

Digital processing, editing, optimizing

High-resolution edited photos on CD with print permission

Password-protected online album

Leather album with 20 5x7’s

I am still waiting to hear back from her with her availability, but her package is:

$565 per person ..

1 hr each with 2 outfit changes

Hair and Makeup included

Hotel Included

 

Is there anyone that is interested in either one or has an alternate suggestion? I was going to talk to everyone at the BDW Get-Together on 1.19.09 in NYC; but figured it would be best to get it out there now.

I would LOVE to do this! Kamila's package seems really fantastic! Sounds so exciting, and I've been hoping that there would be one in the area. I'm not sure that I'll be able to make the happy hour, but definitely count me in for the BD group session! Thanks for posting!

Hi Ladies -

Just a quick update.. I saw that Kristy! contacted the photographer that did their group BD shoot and she is also available on Feb 8th. I PM'd her and once I get the information I will post it on this thread.

Once we get a group together we can decide which photographer to use and what dates work.

Please post on this thread if you are interested; it will be easier for me to keep track this way.

I would personally rather do the March date of course provided that I would have the pics begining of May... I really like her package and I would like the chance to lose a little more weight. I will go with the group on this with no issue but their is my two cents.

I am so glad you started this thread however, bummed on the timing. If you can't wait around for me , then please proceed without me. I wouldlove to be counted in but I will be away for my wedding and honeymoon (3/3/ - 3/17). And like one of the other girls mentioned I would love to be able to loose more weight but if early feb is the decision then I will roll with it I would just need some advance notice. Thanks!

Great!! I am glad that we have some interest.

I would also rather wait until at least March to do this as I am also trying to shed some excess pounds; and I need to make sure I have enough $$!!

I think that Kamila's is a great deal. I will ask her what her availability is for the entire month of March and into early April; and we can go from there.

Just so you all know, so far she is super nice and very quick to respond; I am getting a good feeling about her at this point.

I used Brandi Grooms for my BD, AHR, and E-pics..she's AMAZING. I highly recommend her. I can't say enough good things. PM me if you wanna see my BD pics.

Shannon would you mind asking what the turn around time is I would really like to give my FI the pics the night of our wedding. I am concerned waiting to the begining of April might put that out of reach... Thanks so much again for taking this on and doing the research!
