Has anyone used any of these Photograhers (Jamaica)

Recommended Posts

I have talked in the past with both Misha Earle and Stacey Clarke. We planned on using either of them for a TTD shoot while on our HM. While looking... Misha has a really "new" feel to her about things. Her website is not tiny by all means, and pictures she sent over are really beautiful.. but she is a smaller vendor for the Negril area and her pricing is really good. Stacey on the other hand... LOVED LOVED LOVED her, Oh my her style the layout of her ideas come across so vivid when she tells you something. Stacey is alot bigger and has a higher demand on the product she offers. We ended up foregoing the whole thing because we knew we wanted to be "busy" alone together on our HM, I saw Stacey a bunch of times at our resort for weddings... Her work is wonderful and she is super reasonable... at least I think more so than others...

I have heard good things about Saab Weddings (and I personally LOVE their photos/style the best), Stacey Clarke, and Misha Earle. Stacey Clarke & Misha Earle seem to be a little more economically priced than Saab, but compared to the photographer I was looking at in the states it is still very reasonable.

I'm using Michael of Saab weddings for my wedding next month. So far I've been very impressed by him. He's work is beautiful and he is very professional (answers all my emails, provided references--who loved him by the way) and has agreed to meet with me two days before the wedding to go over things. I'll be sure to let you know how it works out.

I'm a bride getting married next year and I just came back from Montego Bay, Jamaica and I actually met with Diana from Digital Memories Collection. She took the time to travel from Negril to Mo Bay to meet with us just to show us her work. Her and her team are both photographers and videographers. Before I left the US, I spoke with and emailed alot of photographers who sent me their wedding packages, but were not willing to compromise on pricing and hours. I told her what I wanted and at a good budget she gave me it to me. Her work is really good and she is a sweet woman. Diana- dmcvideo@hotmail.com

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
