So far fuschia and green are in the lead. Honestly I just don't know how my BMs are going to react to fuschia tho - it was my goal to get them something they'd wear again. But I have been a super chill bride so far, so this may be the one thing I have to "demand" lol

Still looking for more photog. input!!! :)
I was worried about the same thing! At first I was super nervous and told them they can wear any shade of pink or green (my wedding colors were fuschia and lime green). They all complained that they needed more direction, so I ended up sending them a picture of a dress I liked in lime green (I think it was actually called mojito!). They absolutely loved the color and everyone was super happy... although I am sure they will never wear it again. As for the fuschia, my MOH (my sister) asked if she could wear the same dress as the other girls but in fuschia... it was a perfect solution! I got both my colors in and everyone was happy :)

PS - Elizabeth is the BEST... we used her at our wedding last May. Let me know if you want me to forward you a link to our wedidng pictures? She did such an amazing job... makes me want to get married all over again!

I agree with what everyone has said so far. Be bright & bold! I also LOVE the colors in Elizabeth's pictures.

It would be harder to wear a bright pink gown twice, but I'd definitly rewear a bright pink short dress (like the one posted from forever 21). I'd much rather wear a BM dress with a bold color, but then I prefer saturated colors with my pale skin.

I think it's better to focus on getting a nice dress that looks good & the girls feel good in more than something they can rewear. It's just like on 27 dresses. The bride always tells you that it can be reworn, but rarely do you actually wear it. Although, I did wear the BM dress from my last wedding on new years. It was a hot dress though.

Thanks for the continued input :)

I can't believe the wedding is getting so close. I still have no clue what I want yet cheesy.gif I think we're going to hold off on dress shopping for another month or so to wait for "regular" stores (J Crew, Banana Republic, etc.) to get their Spring colors in. We may try and stop by a David's Bridal before that though since I'm sure they have DW colors/styles in year-round.

I also think I am just going to go ahead and offer to pay for their dresses. I'm actually down to 2 bridesmaids so that makes it SOOOO much easier! At 4 that was pushing my budget a bit, but 2 is definitely doable. And then I won't feel badly at all for picking what I want - and I don't have to worry as much about staying under a certain price range. I'm sure they'll be happy getting a free dress. With their wallets being fatter I don't think they'll mind nearly as much what I pick out! wink.gif

I'm not a photographer, but like some others have done, I'll throw in my thoughts. I'm doing a dark blue with yellow, but also considered dark blue with a lime green which I've seen before and looks great. Aside from loving the color, I went with the dark blue so that the bridesmaid dresses could be a darker color and possibly then be worn again for special events or a night out on the town. Hope your color decision comes along smoothly! Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
