Has anyone out there made a beach trellace type of thing for their wedding?

 

I stole this picture from Christa and it's totally what I'm thinking, so how to I make it and get it there??

Tara - I know that Tasha's dad built hers for her. I think her mom sewed the fabric part & they brought it with them and got the structural stuff from a home store in Cabo.

 

When I started planning I totally thought I could make a chuppah myself...got over that! I'll see if I can find the DIY resources I collected...

If you wanted you could make something very easily out of PVC and just spray paint it. That is what we did - only we misscalculated that it had to be burried in the sand and it was too short... pretty but short

I actually wish I had used 2" pvc instead of 1" and made it slightly larger & taller. We got everything at a local plumbing store and the whole thing cost less than $80 dls.

 

Fabric: we bought 20 yards of white tulle and cut and placed onsite ... no sewing just cut to fit and tied to poles with ribbon.

I'm getting mine through Maye Cortinas. Also when I asked the Hilton they said they could get me one for $350. Do you have a separate wedding corrdinator or are you using.... I can't rememeber her name... CDM's coordinator? I'll post a pic...

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
