What a freak!!!! I totally agree with Becks and Alyssa...either spill red wine on her dress or send a pre-wedding dress code email. You could say you've been asked what the dress code is and wanted to send an email to the group to make it easier for everyone. Throw in there no shades of white please.

ugh! what a dumbass.

i think the email is a great idea, and then if she pulls her "do it anyway to piss you off" crap at least every other guest will know that it was common knowledge to NOT wear white, and maybe they'll give her a hard time.

otherwise maybe we can arrange something so that the dress disappears from her closet. hmm...

I can be a bit of a $hit disturber sometimes, so I would send the e-mail about the dress code and put in a big line about no white or anything even close, and if she STILL wore it at the wedding, then while I was saying my thank-yous at the reception/supper, I'd add in "And I'd like to thank everyone for making my day so perfect, and sticking to the dress code. Well, MOST of us anyway" and make her feel like crap lol But that's because, as I said, I'm a $hit disturber lol

Wow, that's unbelievable! Too bad you can't uninvite her. I do agree with everyone saying it will make her look like a foolish attention whore. How bizarre!

I remember reading somewhere that author Plum Sykes, who is a triplet, wearing her wedding dress-- dyed black-- to one of her sisters' weddings. Even weirder is that Plum's wedding had been called off! So self-involved.

OK.. wait.. what is wrong with this person!!!!!!!!huh.gifhuh.gif??!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with emails on dress codes and accidental red wine/ strawberry margarita spills.

But ultimatly, you will be the glowing, beautiful bride at your wedding that have been maticulously planning and she will just be the IDIOT in a wedding dress at someone else's wedding. (and at least half or more of you guests will know it)

Good Luck Sister, she sounds like a full wack job!

I dont care what your wedding dress looks like.. why the HELL would you wear it to someone else's wedding? And why would you wear it if you knew there would be a guest present that saw you in that dress at your weddinghuh.gif I wouldnt even wear the same normal dress to 2 different weddings, let alone my own wedding dress. Personally Id tell her to quit being an ass and to give her head a shake, sensitive or not. I wish everyone could have normal brain chemistry and not be complete pyschopaths when it comes to weddings.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
