Guest wearing their wedding dress

Ok I totally see why this would upset you, it's absolutely ridiculous for her to do something like this especially if she's intentionally doing this to hurt you or gain attention. But is she really that dense and for lack of a better word, dumb, to not realize that she will look like a complete and utter fool wearing a wedding dress to someone else's wedding?? Goodness, I just can't imagine what the hell she's thinking confused.gif

That is so totally appalling I can't even begin to tell you.

On the other hand, you can bet that everyone at your wedding will be tearing her to shreds the next day for wearing a wedding dress to your wedding. And your FI's family will know because your family will be talking about it.

What a C-U-Next-Tuesday!

Seriously... uninvite her.

(or give one of your girlfriends a nice big glass of red wine to have an "accident" with before you walk down the aisle... all over her dress!)
I totally agree with Becks - even about the "accident" with the wine..haha :)

I am absolutely appalled.. Who would do that?!?!

Well, I assume that this person is a very close relative or you would have univited them by now?!?? If they are not, then tell them that it's your and FI's day and if she cannot behave appropriately; then don't bother coming!!!

Or... if all else fails - I love becks idea.. spill the wine!

I agree with Becks!! How crazy! I also agree that everyone will look at her like she's crazy since half the people know it was her wedding dress.. it will definitely make her look bad! And I think your Mom or someone should say something to her.. AND you should un-invite her for sure. No one needs a person like that ruining their wedding day or any other day for that matter!

Big hugs

i think you should send an email to all your guests letting them know that a few people asked you for a dress code so you and Francis put one together...

make sure it says "please refrain from wearing white..." blah blah

seriously if you do it let me know and i will help you write it

Wow, what is wrong with some people? This would make me totally irate, so good on you for your amazing self-control. I'm not a bridezilla but I AM opinionated, so if it were me, I would totally tell someone in my family to back the hell off of that idea or she's getting univited.

That is just plain rude and completely insensitive to you and your feelings!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
