Severine has been quick to respond to my emails and helpful in answering my questions. To book, I had to email them a completed booking form. Their form indicates that they require a 25% deposit, payable through Paypal, although Severine said that she'll let me know when I can put down the deposit because they have monthly paypal limits. This made me a bit nervous, but Severine assured me that my date and time are reserved.
I was really nervous about the deposit thing too but dont worry about it. I dont think i handed mine in until about a month before the wedding, that's when she finally asked for it.

Maybe instead of telling her it is for a photoshoot just tell her it is a meeting with her. Otherwise are they going to make you pay $90 for the days that she comes back to the resort to give you the pics and stuff?

Another option is to make the journey to a beach about half way between the resort and where she is located. You could just cab it there an back, but check with her too, as the roads were being redone when we were there last month and she said they were REALLY bad!!!

Actually, another thought would be for her to meet you on the beach for the shoot, as I believe that there is a market thing next to your resort, and she can get to the beach right there. Hope everything works out for you. Keep us posted.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
