I know, but I felt bad. I invisioned a future bride asking for that date and here I am being stubborn holding it. But I really wanted to wait!

bump.gif sorry, but Ann, did you ask Nicole by chance?

Oh, as an FYI, DJ Ricardo (in Cabo) says he is available to go to PV. He said he'd get back to me. But I'm still shopping for prices.

Here's his website- djsystem.com.mx

I have info of a DJ named Saul Perales he was the DJ at Christine's ( PV Club) and now is DJ at one club in SF. He charges 1500 USD per 5 hours. If you want his email PM me and will provide it. He was the DJ at one of my co-workers wedding and everybody said he was really good!

But I think its kind of expensive if you have band and the DJ just for downtimes and the "tornaboda" ( post wedding party in spanish!) I am having also a band and DJ but I think I will go with a less expensive one.

Oh Edna! If you come across a less expensive one, please let me now!!! I do think 1500US is a bit much. But I want the party to continue once the band stops playing!

I think Pepe and Saul just work in the PV area but there is one named Team Blue Star wich is very popular in MTY and big cities in MTY and they have a mobile DJ dedicated just to Weddings.

Here is their link: : BLUE STAR : MOBILE DJ : Proud Design Award Winner : its very popular and they have offices in Monterrey ( where I live) and Cancun. I have justasked for a quote for , as soon as I receive it I can let you know how it was.

I don't think they are the same one used at Prisar webpage, they called me to the office today but I was on a meeting, they call tomorrow and provide a quote. As soon I have details I will provide it. Hope they can have a good price for us!!! cheesy.gif

They have offices at Cancun so for the brides at Cancun!!! they offer things like hats, sunglasses, and that kind of funny stuff on their performances... I know you will like them!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
