Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cancun????

Recommended Posts

We are looking at LeBlanc now too - I love Mexico and FI has never been before - this resort looks stunning and I think it would be an amazing treat for him as he hasn't been on a vacation in 20 years - I am extremely excited at the prospect of it - he is going to roll his eyes at me over changing my mind yet again LOL

Hi,

I am also looking at Le Blanc so would love to hear from anyone that has gotten married there. Also would like to hear why others did not get married there (aside from the adults only restriction). I have friends that vacationed there last July and had nothing but good things to say about it. I wish they had more wedding pics on their website. I would love to see wedding pics from there!

We looked into having our wedding at the Leblanc and decided to honeymoon at the Leblanc instead. The deciding factor for us was the 500+ price tag per night. The wedding packages were also much higher than what is offered at other palace resorts....

Well, you'll have an awesome honeymoon. It's an outstanding resort. I'm jealous, I want to go back! Good luck with everything! You'll see why there's a difference in cost...it is 100% worth every penny. There is a big difference between Le Blanc and any of the other Palace resorts. Congrats!

Hi Brides to be!

I posted a reply but I think it didn't post for some reason but I'll reiterate what I said on it. I got married at Le Blanc March 30th. I was nervous since no one I could find had gotten married there. It was AMAZING!!!!! I couldn't have dreamed of a better wedding. It was exactly what I'd hoped for and then some and it was totally stress free. If any of you want to see pictures I haven't been able to up load them to this site for some reason, either email me and I can try to attach some pics or if you are on facebook search for me, Heidi Mason Sarabia (let me know what your name is so I accept you as a friend). If you have any specific questions let me know but here's a recap of it all.

First of all Rebecca who is the wedding coordinator for the Palace resorts is wonderful...totally on top of everything and works very hard to make everything go smootly and perfectly which she accomplished. She made my wedding completely stress free. No bridezilla here. I picked a package that wasn't the most expensive one (the next one down) and I'm glad I did because I had everything I wanted. I will say that for destination weddings Le Blanc is more expensive than most BUT it is worth EVERY penny. If you don't get the most expensive package you can upgrade things like table centerpieces and bouquets (but for a huge price) bridesmaid bouquets to match mine were 250. a piece...to upgrade bridal bouquets was also about 250. NOT worth it...at least in my opinion. Everything is so elegant. I wanted to have my private reception outside (they only do buffet style outside) but it was too windy so I was disappointed at first in having to choose a restaurant. I am SO glad it worked out that way. I think that even if it isn't windy that you and your guests will be more comfortable in air conditoned comfort inside rather than the hot humid (sometimes windy) weather outside). We choose the italian restaurant and had the filet mignon as the main course. It was possibly the BEST filet I've EVER had. I eat filet all the time and it was incredible...even the professional chef in the family was really impressed. The rest of the meal consisted of what seemed like an endless parade of unique gormet dishes (I think there were 7 courses including the cake). Also, we were going to have our cocktail hour outside but because of the wind had it brought inside...we had to beg a little but ended up having it in the martini bar on the 2nd floor with a beautiful ocean view! It was amazing. The photographer was great. (Our package came with 32 prints). Then, instead of paying a lot more for the photo packages we paid 150. for the photographer's CD which had like 200 photos on it. Way more than enough! We also had our relatives download pics to a shutterfly page we created.

The food was great...especially for being an all inclusive. You could literally order a filet and bottle of wine at 3 am and your butler would bring it within 20-30 min. We stayed at Le Blanc for 8 nights and then went to Adventura Spa for our 4 night honeymoon (it was supposed to be longer but we loved Le Blanc so much we extended our stay there). I wish we'd stayed the entire time there. The food wasn't half as good and I got sick there. It was really hard to go from Le Blanc to Adventura...as nice as it is...a definite step down. Leave Le Blanc for last. Our butler service was great. You can ask him for anything day or night. You can choose from an assortment of pillows (I loved the lavender pillow). The night before the wedding I went back to my room and had the butler draw the wirlpool with camomille bath salts...had relaxing music playing and lavendar aromatherapy (which they bring to your room...again you can choose from a menu of sents)...and fell asleep with my lavendar pillow.

I really could go on and on but I won't. If you have any specific questions let me know...and if you want to see my wedding pics let me know your name and find me on facebook! Good luck to all of you. If I could get married anywhere in the world and didn't have a budget I would get married at Le Blanc all over again!

FINALLY!!! Someone who was married at Le Blanc.

Le Blanc has always been the FI's first choice. But then I couldn't find any reviews on it so I was beginning to look at Excellence Riviera instead.

Thanks for the details.I'll send you a request and a note with my name on facebook.

Hey ladies! I just returned yesterday from my wedding at AZUL Sensatori and honeymoon at Le Blanc. They were doing a brochure photo shoot for weddings at Le Blanc and we took a lot of pics of them setting up so I can post them here for you.

If you decide to get married here, you will be very happy with your choice. The water is crystal blue for photos and I can only imagine that the wedding staff is as nice as everyone else in the resort.

I will post pics/review of restaurants etc. once we get them uploaded. The only draw back I can think of by having your wedding at Le Blanc is $. It is expensive and I know it would have prohibited some of my guests from attending the wedding if I would have had it at Le Blanc with the room rate. With that said, the high per night room rate is worth every penny!

Also, no kids, which is great for a honeymoon but I wanted my 5 month old nephew at our wedding!

Hope that helps!

I am also soooo glad there is a real bride from Le Blanc! Congrats Heidi, your wedding sounded so beautiful. I was looking at having a family resort, but the love of my life and I just had a very in depth talk and decided to have a personal wedding that is all about us. No hassle, no family arguments, no one picking out what "they" want. So we will just have a huge reception when we get home. But thank you again and I will be sending you a friend request on facebook. ________ Royale ___________

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
