So what should we do in the meantime?? Our ROR wedding is at noon and dinner at Mammee Bay isnt until 6:30. What did you do with your guests in between? Thanks for any ideas!

My wedding is at 1pm and we are taking pics afterwards to kill sometime However, i think most of my guest are going to hit the pool and relax before dinner and enjoy the sun.

What times do they have the weddings at the Riu?

you could have a cocktail receptipon, or they can hang out by the pool. it is your day--do you!

I know they do up to 3 weddings per day, but I'm not sure of the exact times. I know there have been BDW brides who've gotten married at 12pm & 4pm. I think there's an 11am time slot too.

I just went to Riu's website & tried to do a new wedding request. I picked a date & it gave me a choice of the following time slots:

                11am - 12pm
                12pm - 1pm
                1pm - 2pm
                2pm - 3pm
                3pm - 4pm

So I'm guessing that the schedule for any given day depends on the time slot that was chosen by a bride.

I am having my ceremony at 1:00pm and thought about the cocktails and appetizers but the resort is all inclusive so there is food and drinks everywhere!! I just bought a little white sundress and after the ceremony and photos I am changing and hanging out on the beach or in one of the bars!

I got married at 11am and initially I was thinking about having an afternoon cruise but didn't go ahead with it as my sister was pregnant. We finished pics etc. around 1:30 and then headed to the bar for a few drinks. We then went back to my room and freshened up & had a few more drinks..took some pics on the balcony. We had a late lunch and hubby & I went down to the beach to relax for a while (still in full dress etc.) while our guests did their own thing.

We headed back to our room to freshen up again, we met up with the rest of our guests as well and then went to dinner.

I think it all depends on how many guests you have etc. There were only 6 of us in total so it was very relaxed and casual. I think that our guests liked the idea of doing whatever they wanted for a while..it kept the wedding informal.

My wedding is at 4pm so I will probably just take pictures and maybe have appetizers and cocktails around the pool for guests until dinner at 6:30pm.
