Claudia Rodriguez Photography- Claudia?

Recommended Posts

We just returned from Mexico and did our TTD shoot with Claudia last Wednesday. She was super nice and I really liked spending time with her! The few pictures she showed us raw on her camera looked amazing, so I am really excited to see the finished products.

The only little thing that was a mix up was that in all our email correspondence, she had said she was going to pick us up at 6pm, but then the day of our shoot, she called and left us a voicemail saying she wanted to pick us up a little later than originally planned - at 4:30pm. LOL. Which was fine. We weren't doing anything but laying by the pool anyways!

She came right up and picked us up, and was really great. We went to Puerto Morelos and took some great pictures around the common, and then went down to the beach. The beach was crowded, so she took the extra time and we all drove out to Playa instead. It was really nice to have someone who would take the extra time to go to a different location instead of trying to make a imperfect location work.

I saw a few brides post that she doesn't get back to you very quickly - I experienced the same issue when I was arranging things with her. I'm actually still waiting for her to send me the final paypal request to finish paying her!

That was something really really strange to me. Unlike all my other vendors, she seemed to really not care about the payment ! I felt I had to insist to make it happen wink.gif She was saying : "don't worry, I have your pictures, so I know you'll pay me". It kind of made me freak out a little bit though !

More to come....
Pretty pictures!! How did you get over 300 photos? I thought it said 150 images for 3 hours in her package?

Claudia prints what is specified in the package but them gives you a CD with all the pictures she took. So we got the 8x10s, 5x10s, and 4x6s printed and then a CD with everything!

Someone was asking about how long it took to get your pics. My wedding was June 11th and I got the pics around the 2nd week of July.

Soon2bePowers...you're photo's were stunning! Thanks so much for sharing. You looked gorgeous and I LOVED your flowers! We have booked Citalli for our wedding in Feb 2010...same thing with the deposit on paypal, she has yet to get back to us with that (it's been about 2 weeks). As long as I still get Citalli (Claudia was booked) then it's fine by me. She put together a 4 hour package for us, and your feedback makes me glad we went with the 4 hrs instead of the 3 (although it looks like you got more than enough great shots) since you say it felt rushed.

Thanks so much! Yes, all of our photos were taken at VIM. They were all right near the beach wedding site. No, that bouquet was not included in the package, it is actually fake. I bought all my flowers from Roberta who I found on this site. I loved them and saved so much money as flowers were pretty expensive at VIM.

I did get my bouquet as part of my package and used it as decoration for the sand ceremony table. It was beautiful, too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
