Claudia Rodriguez Photography- Claudia?

After going back and forth about which photographer to use for my wedding at Dreams Tulum I have finally decided to use Claudia Rodriguez. I am excited about this but I am still searching for some more photos or information about her work.

Has anyone used Claudia herself? I know several people have used different associates there but I just wanted to make sure that hiring Cluadia is a good decision.

If anyone could help me out I would truly appreciate it! Thanks a ton!

you have made an awesome decision. I have booked claudia herself for our wedding in may. she is super fast with replies, very nice to deal with and very helpful. she suggested a place for out trash the dress session and i also asked her to recommend a hair and make up stylist to come to our resort for the day and she did that too. she has done LOTS of weddings for a lot of brides on this forum just do a search. good luck!

I am most likely hiring Claudia to do our TTD session. When I asked her for more sample pics, she sent me a link and password to some more. I would just ask if you're looking for more pics. I would also do a search on here...I think a lot a lot of people have used or were seriously considering Claudia, so there's lots on here about her.

 

That being said...I have not been getting the fast replies Corvette has...she has taken about a week each consistently to reply to my emails, and it's making me a little nervous about how she is having trouble with this, even after I pretty much told her we were going to book her.

Thank you both for giving me your input, I appreciate it. We have been emailing each other back and forth quite frequently and not until the last few days have I not gotten a response from her. So she has been great replying back to emails that I have sent her.

The idea of asking her for some more sample pictures is a great idea. I think I am going to email her now and see if she can do that for me.

I am also trying to find out more about the photo album that is included in some of the packages. She was trying to send me a link to them but then she forgot to include it, so I am waiting now to hear back about that.

Maybe it's just because of the holidays that I've been having trouble. I think my first contact with her was early December. I'm sure she'll be able to send you more pictures, hopefully they are what you want! I'm going back and forth between Claudia and Citlalli. I think either would make us happy!

We are using her for our photography and TTD... I am excited! It is expensive, but her work is great and she is really nice (through e-mails). I heard she is really cool in person too!

we are also hoping to use claudia. i've only emailed her a few times, but she was quick to respond and really helpful.....oh i really hope that by the time i can book the wedding, she is still free!

 

Has anyone booked their photographer BEFORE booking their wedding? i'm THIS close to doing that, to ensure i get her!

I used claudia's studio, I would have chosen claudia but she was booked for my day. I ended up choosing citlalli, who I was also very excited about, however the day of my wedding Citlalli had food poisoning. However, Claudia was very good about calling me first thing in the morning to let me know that she had someone else coming in Citlalli's place, so it all worked out. Claudia was always fairly quick to respond and very helpful. I'm sure you'll be very happy with her.

 

also, if you use the search function you will find a bunch of other threads about claudia and might find more information there as well. And look at the pictures from past dreams cancun brides because most of us used her studio.

I have also been looking into hiring claudia for my Barcelo Maya May 2010 wedding but she sent me a list of her prices and it seems a little pricey. I met with a WC out of Vancouver and she told me that these prices are inaccurate. She told me that she works with Claudia a lot and her last bride only paid $1300 for a full day of photos. Is this right? Does anyone know an ACTUAL rate because I keep getting different answers?

I booked Claudia for June. I am attaching the price list she provided me. She just sent this to me a couple of weeks ago. The range for photographers is huge!! I think she is mid range.

 

Also she has been great to email. During the holidays it took a couple of days to respond but it was the holidays.

 

I put my deposit down and she said we would be in contact closer to the wedding date to confirm things. But if I had any questions I should email her. She also provided me with a link and password to see more picks.
