Nordstorms Wedding Shop

Recommended Posts

I personally haven't seen the wedding dresses in their stores ~ but being a Nordstroms.com addict blush2.gif, I can tell you that in the past 5 months I have literally ordered about 12 brides/bridesmaids or welcome dinner dresses online (my work schedule is so crazy I don't have time to go out and shop). Then I'd try them on at home and if I liked em I kept em, some I returned in store. Just last week I mailed about 4 dresses back to avoid the holiday crowds and it was only a $6 flat shipping fee that they automatically charge on the return label.

There's no return date deadline, and when you order $200 or more it's free shipping. Can't beat that!!! Nordstroms return policy rocks so it was an easy way for me to shop with the convenience of trying things at home!!! wink.gif Hope that helps!!!

PS - The quality of their dresses is great from what I've ordered so far!!!! cheesy.gif

I called Nordstrom customer service once to ask them if they carried the dresses in store. I was told that most dresses are not available in store and you would have to check with your local Nordstrom. BTW those dresses are beautiful. I first saw my dress on Nordstrom for $600 and on sale for $400. I went on ebay and found it for $199!!!

Hi Jen cheesy.gif Well I've ordered from Nordstroms about 5 times, and generally the shipments came in about 4 to 8 days just standard shipping ~ honestly it was VERY fast. But I would say whenever my order included something from their bridal collection it took longer, and I think it's because it came from their..."headquarters/manufacturer" whereas the regular dresses would sometimes come from the closest store to me. But again either way it was super quick! If you see something you really like, I'd order it now to avoid having it get discontinued or sold out ~ that actually happened to a dress I really liked. So def. order it as soon as you can, plus you can always return it if it's not "the one"!! wink.gif

my wedding dress was from nordstroms. i was able to find it in one of the stores to try it on (not in my size) then i order a few in different sizes and was able to return all of the ones that did not fit me without any issues. the other great thing is that you get free alterations. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
