WW for 2010 Brides!!

Recommended Posts

YEAH for the brace diet! lol Unfortunately, I have perfectly straight teeth, so no brace diet for me! sad.gif lol

You're doing great Mrs V. Only 9 pounds to go!!

I feel that I may have to join WW again. At the beginning of all this, I had joined but then my membership ended and I didn't bother to sign up again. Well, that's not working out too well for me so I think I'm going to head back there again this week. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!! I was doing the gym thing really well for about 5 weeks but lately, I don't care to go so I need some encouragement - HELP!!!

Lisa! I've missed you on here! i'm soo glad your checked back in! mwwaaahahaha

you had been doing soo great last time we spoke, and now you have taken your ticker away - i think you should put that back up...it kinda works - because in the back of your mind you keep thinking, i really want to update my ticker already!lol

Also, try forcing yourself to go to the gym...because if you have spent an hour busting your a$s for an hour, the last think you want to do is eat bad food.

On a lighter note, I'm not long back from my first spin class...and i don't think i'll be doing those classes! omg the pain in my butt!! so i'm gonna stick to body attack and lbt!! hahaha is there any classes at your gym you could go to Lisa? I was always an anti-class ghirl, but i love my classes now!

I just had to post!!! I had a horrible week stuffing my face with everything!!!! Terrible...I feel like total crap, I don't even want to weigh myself, LOL. I start back up again in March counting every single precious point...and until now, I've lost 18 lbs! Woooooot Wooooooot! I feel like I gained them all back this week, haha. This past Thursday was my birthday so I went a little nutty with all you can eat sushi (mind you, I enjoy tempura...not good!)...then I went to a couple BBQ's and ate ribs and pasta salad like it was my last day on Earth...oh, and a couple slices of icecream cake! Put that all together with many cocktails and no exercise...I'm bloated and retaining water and can't zip my freakin jeans!!! OMG! so, tomorrow is a new day and back to counting every calorie i go! wish me luck!! YIPPEE!!

Hi ladies!!!! Hi Mrs. D and Lisa!!!!!! Memorial weekend is over and a new week has begun!!! :) Thank goodness for me!!! Back on track now although I haven't weighed in since right before my birthday but I do plan on going this Saturday so I'll let you all know how that goes :) Hopefully I haven't done too much damage embarrest.gif I've been so wishy washy for what seems like forever but I haven't lost hope. I'm headed back to the gym again tonight and have to get serious (this feels like deja vu) !!! I was in a bathing suit all weekend and it was fine but I KNOW how much better I would have felt if I had been getting my butt to the gym!!! Soo... since summer is officially here I have to get a move on!!!

Mrs. D - Great job on the 3 lbs!!!! smile29.gif I'm getting there... it's been a struggle for a while but I need to just stop being lazy :) Seeing your great progress motivates me to try and do the same :) You go girl!!!!

MayBride - Don't worry! Today is a new day so you get to start over!!! smile03.gif

Sofylina - Great job on the excercise!!! Hope weigh in payed off for you! I wouldn't worry about it though, as long as you're being active your body will definitely thank you for it even if the scale doesn't :)

Lisa - I feel like we've been in the same boat lately! Don't worry! Today is a new day so lets start doing fantastic NOW :) I will make it to this Saturdays meeting NO MATTER WHAT!!! I don't care how many more BBQs and get-togethers get in my way now... I'm going to count my points now if it kills me!!! Hahahaha! We can do this!!!!!

Sandra - That's the great thing about WW! You get to start over every day! :) I know holiday weekends are killer shots.gif but now we can all get back on track and serious about what we need and WANT to do smile159.gif

Anyway, good luck everyone and here's to a great week!!!! We can do this!!! cheer2.gif

Natalie - any loss is a great loss. Take what you can get!! CONGRATS!!! :)

So I've re-joinned WW (again lol) and went to my first meeting on monday. I've added my ticker again and my goal is to get to that 33 lbs loss for my wedding. I do eventually want to lose more, but that's my goal for now.

This week I've realized that I have been eating WAY too many points every day than I'm allowed, hence the reason for me gaining some weight back. SO, I've been pretty good, but not too great. At least I''m trying. My first weigh-in is on Monday, so I'll update you all then.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck on your first week Lisa!!! It helps to set "mini" goals...33 might sounds too overwhelming...so, maybe say...10 lbs by August 3rd...something like that...it always seems to push me harder! Either way, good luck...you can do it!!

Heyyyyyy ladies!!!

I am actually doing WW now, although I have over 11 months before my wedding, but I wanted to try it out to see if it is for me. I can honestly say IT HAS DONE NOTHING!!! I HAVE BEEN ON WW FOR 5 1/2 WEEKS AND HAVEN'T LOST 1 LBS YET!!! Now, I am wondering if there is something wrong with my body, because I don't exercise, but this diet is really great! I don't mind counting my points, I don't mind eating healthy as that is the easy part....BUT doing all of this depriving and NOT seeing any results is what I'm having a VERY HARD TIME with.

I am 5' 8 and 170lbs. My goal is 150lbs but hell I'll even take 165lbs sheesh!

I honestly don't think I look bad, as my husband-to-be loves my shape now, but I would love to have a kick-ass body for my wedding, I've never been "small" per say, but I'd like to be at 150lbs where I was in HS when he met me.

*SIGH* What am I to dohuh.gif I went on a strict exercising stint last summer, where I was doing 2-3 hours 3-4 days per week, and I DIDN'T LOOSE ONE POUND!!!! Now Iâ€m trying WW and still haven't lost any weight! IS IT POSSIBLE THAT MY BODY IS STUCK!!! LOL I haven't gained any weight in the last 3 years...so if I'm not going to loose, I may as well eat and drink whatever I want and stay where I am for this!

I know this is pretty long winded, but I'm really upset that I'm wasting money and precious food that I love for nothing!

PLEASE HELP

    • Hi Brides! I have a Wally Bag - 66" available - $90 + shipping (US only) The wally bag typically sells for $120-$180. I used this gown bag once to transport my dress from MN to Mexico for our wedding - IT WAS PERFECT!   I was actually able to pack 4 additional maxi dresses, and my husband's wedding attire, plus a few pairs of shoes and some jewelry. I packed the dress the night before we left, and just moments before we left, I zipped the bag and folded it - ready for travel. It comes up with a nice over-the-shoulder strap, making it really easy to carry through the airports. No issues on Delta with the bag as my carry-on - I chose to put in the overhead bin, but the flight attendant did offer to hang it in the closet for me. Once we got to the resort, about 10 hours after I first folded the bag, I unpacked the bag and my dress was perfect - no wrinkles! My dress was mostly lace and had a bit of a train, but it arrived perfectly!  Honestly, this is the best way to travel with your dress!
    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
