welcome dawn!!

I have to say, although Grand Palladium as a hotel wasn't what we were looking for, the wedding gazebo is second to NONE!!! Its the most beautiful wedding area i've ever seen - your sooo lucky!!

Good luck with your weight loss, keep your mind straight and always think of the target and i'm sure you'll do great!

On a personal note, I went wedding dress shopping at the weekend and i've found the one!!! Going back this weekend for a second appointment and will probably pay my deposit!! woo hoo i'm soo excited, its all I think about!! ha

When she was measuring me I was craping myself, but, they are ordering me a british 10, so an american 6!! woo hoo I got to my target!! yeeeeeehhhhaaa she said my weight is out by 3/4 of an inch but everywhere else is a perfect 10! yas so i've got 10 months to lose that 3/4 of an inch!! hee hee

So stick with it ladies, here is a success story, and if I can do it with the simple drive of the dress, so can you!! :)

Now on my personal note, I did not go and weigh-in last night. I do have a confession though about WW. I'm just not into it anymore for some reason, so I'm in the process of trying something different. I still plan on doing my weigh-ins, just not exactly following the same program. I hope you gals still love me!! blush2.gif lol I'm still planning on posting with my progress.

Mrs. D- wow!!! Good for you! Pat yourself on the back - you should be so proud!

I have a bit more than 3/4 of an inch to lose ha ha...

We love the Grand palladium too - we just came back about a week ago - we were checking it out with the family. It is very nice but I know its not for everyone

Lisaloo- dont worry. you will figure it out. I go through that all the time (now, in fact). I try to lose weight and I give up and I end up putting it on with a few bonus pounds.... I dont know why we do that sabatoge thing. For me I think that I am afraid to fail so I fail on purpose and then it really isnt something that I did wrong- I did it on purpose.... does that make any sense? I know how you feel though. It stinks. I am so motivated to lose weight in my mind but in reality I am so lazy. I jusy want to be able to snap my fingers and be thin and fit into a beautiful wedding dress...

Keep your chin up :)

Hey Lisa - I'll post pictures of me in the dress nearer the time - I promise! :)

Don't worry about weight watchers not working for you, I didn't do weight watchers, just done my own thing - maybe you should give that a go? My biggest tip is any form of exercise, but doing it 5 days a week....i love exercise so it wasn't a problem for me, but I can understand how some people can't get motivated, but try slog through it, coz when your seeing results, it really helps!

I just read my last post....its not my weight thats 3/4 of an inch out...its my waist!lmao

hi ladies :) I would like to join this thread even though I'm technically a 2009 (nov) bride. I just joined WW on Thursday and have had a good time so far, because I'm really commited. My goal is to lose 25-30 lbs by my wedding date, which is very aggressive, so wish me luck. My starting weight was 168 and I'd like to be around 138 for my wedding. So far I'm down to 162, although that was with no clothing and obviously I had clothes on when I weighed in on Thurs. I can't post too much on BDW during the day anymore, but I'd like to keep up at night time when I'm off work because I'm looking for support from others who are doing WW.

THANKS LADIES :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
