What a reward for me :)

On a side note, I made those cupcakes...love them! 2 points (because they are muffin size.) Ladies, give it a go!
Congratulations Sofylina!!! smile123.gif That's fantastic! Keep up the great work!

Lisa! - I know what you mean! I've been following points (but not writing down, only in my head! LOL) but haven't been to a meeting in a couple of weeks blush2.gif. I think I need to change my day to Thursday nights instead of Sat. morning because we always have so much going on over the weekends. I just hate weighing-in in the evening.

Adurrell - welcome3.gif !!! I think you are my WW twin! LOL! I LOVE my wine too! :) I have been REALLY unmotivated for the past couple of months but this thread has really helped me to not slip backwards until I can get back into the swing of things! I'm an April bride too... but 2010 so I gotta get my butt into gear ASAP! Good Luck!

vgirl17, I'm so glad I'm not alone in the wine department! I'm hoping too that this thread really gets me motivated. I find that weighing in on Friday mornings is best for me. You can kind of drink as much wine as you want on the weekend but then be super good during the week and see weight loss when you step on the scale the following week. Weighing in on Friday mornings has been great.

I'm so glad this thread is here!! A few years back I was on WW and lost 45 lbs...I didn't become a lifetime member though...a lot of things were going on in my life at the time so I stopped attending meetings and eventually stopped going to the gym...my health since then has been a rollercoaster! I was diagnosed with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), it's been horrible!! I have my good days where I feel perfectly fine and then there are days where I can't even get out bed in the morning. It's been so unpredictable and has caused me to cancel last minute with friends and family and even call out of work. Doctors say I should build my immune system back up by healthy eating and exercise. Well, duh! We all know that!! I just don't have the energy to jog on a treadmill like I used to sad.gif So, I ended up gaining all the weight I had lost (and an additional 20 lbs!)...so, a couple months ago I decided to start again. Slowly, but certainly. So far I've lost 18 lbs and I must say I'm rather proud of myself. Exercise isn't quite part of my vocabulary yet, but it will be. I'm feeling much better and I know I'll be the old Sandra once again! Not just for my wedding day (although it helps looking amazing in a dress)...but for my future, with my husband and our family. 10 years from now I want to be running around the yard chasing after the kids and not have to stop and catch my breath. I can do it :) It's wonderful to have everyone's encouragement and well wishes. Good luck to all you beautiful brides!

Hello ladies! I'm still here!!! I went to weigh in last week to get my new "start weight" and I had gained .8 from the last time I was there. Not great but at least I know where I stand now. Well this weekend is my birthday and we're all supposed to go out to dinner tonight so I doubt I make it to weigh in tomorrow morning. My family likes to party so I doubt I get to bed at a decent hour :) Nice to see all of you on here! Keep up the great work!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
