anyway, i'm changing my target to a 1lb this week - i don't know what made me think up 2lb!!! i'll be at my target by June if I lose a steady pound each week!woo hoo

good luck ladies - keep up the good work - we'll all be slim brides-to-be in no time!

So I weighed in on Saturday morning and I too didn't gain nor did I lose anything this week. My Aunt Flo came to visit this Friday so I think that might have a little bit to do with it (sorry if that's TMI) because I felt like I was doing pretty good up until then... I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens next Saturday. At least I didn't gain :)

Hello Ladies -

I had my week 2 weigh in and I'm down another .6 lbs. A little disappointing but if I look at the big picture (down 3 lbs in 2 weeks) it makes me feel better.

I'm just going to stay on track a little better and get a bigger # next week!

Stay strong all!

Jen

Hey girlies - me had a good week - 3lb lose! I didn't see it coming - thought it would be one pound - think i've worked out the trick though. I worked out loads last week, but didn't compensate for the energy I was using up ie i didn't eat anymore - and the result was i didn't lose...but this week, i did work out as much, and kept to my healthy eating...and hey presto - i lost! woo hoo

Just in from a 2 hour session at the gym...body attack then legs, bums and thighs...oh i'm dying! :) I love the pain!

Vgirl I know how your feeling - aunty flow visited a few weeks ago for me...but i think you'll find if your good this week, the results will be impressive after 2 good weeks! I know how hard it is to stay focused when the scales haven't budged though!

What i done last week after my no weigh lose was started measuring myself, because chances are, if the scales don't change but you've been good, your loosing it in inches!

Anyhoo..going to go sleep and hope the pain gets worse tomorrow....means it was a real workout! hee hee

target for next week - 1lb = totalling 1 stone!! woo hoo i'm fighting for it!!

good luck girlies - and stay focussed - think of that dress in 2010!

Wow! You guys are doing fantastic!! I'm not too discouraged by my slow progress lately, I know it will eventually catch up as long as I keep doing good. I'm feeling good about this week so we'll see. I haven't been as strict with my points as I should be lately so I need to focus a little more and I'm sure things will start to progress faster. Way to go girls! Woot Woot!!!

Everyone is doing amazing! Yes it's difficult sometimes, but is easy other times.

I'm still stuggling right now, so it's difficult time for me. I used to be SO into the whole WW thing, but for some reason, I can't get back into it. The FI has now lost 50lbs, which is so amazing and I'm so happy for him, yes I am so mad. I'm mad at myself because I could have lost that much weight too, but instead I was a slacker! Anyway, I'm trying this week so hopefully it'll be better.

Wishing you all the best, keep up the great work ladies! :)

Just a quick update. I weighed-in today and lost 2 lbs! WOO HOO!!!!! I'm still not back to my 17lb loss, but getting there. At least I'm on the right track! I'm soooo happy!!!! :) :) :)

On another note, I spoke with my physiotherapist about exercising and she said that I could do whatever I wanted except for running and aerobics(too hard on my knee right now). SO, I plan on joining the same gym as my FI to get myself into shape. I'm looking forward to starting up!

Hope that you all have a wonderful week! *hugs*

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
