I did well in my first two weeks, stayed on plan and lost 2 pounds the first week and 2.4 the second week...but since that last weigh in i have completely fallen off the wagon! I have 29 pounds to lose to get to my goal weight.

I need some movtivation!!!!! (as if a pending wedding isn't enough motivation...i dn't know what my problem is!)
welcome4.gif jcoop! You have come to the right place! It's much easier to loose weight and stay motivated when you do it with someone else.. and that's what we are :) The great thing about WW is that you get a fresh start every week (or every day for that matter). Don't let one bad day or one bad week ruin all you have already accomplished. I know I've had my share of ups and downs when it came to weigh-in each week, but the ups (meaning losses) always outweighed the downs (gains) and before you know it you're at your goal weight! Don't give up! Just find what works for you, what foods keep you satisfied within your points and don't be afraid to use your flex points for treats (for me it's pizza) so you don't deprive yourself. You can do this! :)

p.s. I've been a lifetime member for more than a couple of years already and am at it full force for the wedding so I know it works (I just got lazy after maintaing for so long) :)

Just got back from weighing in and I lost 1.8 lbs! Woot Woot! I'm pretty happy with that considering I was trying to make up for how bad I was last week. This week the goal is to work out more. :)

Congrats Veronica!! Way to go!!!

Welcome to any other new members. Apparently we have a few this week which is awesome!! Great to see! :)

My story of the week is as follows...So I weighed in this past wednesday and was sad. I had gained 2.4 pounds! YIKES!!!! I know it's because of what I ate last weekend. Still sucks but I'm hoping to do better this week. I'm not sure what's going on but for some reason I feel I have to sabotage myself?! Anyone else having this problem? Anyway, I'm doing better already this week, so I'm happy about that. Hopefully I'll have good news on Wednesday. Have a great week ladies, keep up the good work!!!!!!!! *hugs*

Just had to report my excited news. I lost 2.4 pounds my first week. Not too bad considering I spent the weekend at the cabin with a cocktail in my hand.

Lisaloo - I know exactly what you mean by sabotaging yourself. Whenever I start getting close to my goal, I tend to reward myself with food. Which, of course, ends up in weight gain. Dumb!

hey girlies - well i didn't put on - but i i didn't lose either! sad.gif

Went to the gym alot this week, but I also had my first...then second pizza of the year! eeeccckk had one in the house while watching football, then had a dominos at the weekend! So i blame my none movement on my high intake of cheese this week!

So plan for this week - no cheese at all (hard for me being a cheese addict) and 2lb lose! COME ON!!!! :)

Congrats Super19!! Hey, no one said cocktails weren't allow... What do you think I use all of my flex points on! ...lol :)

Mrs. D, I too am a cheese lover! and pizza... don't even get me started ... one of my favorite foods... but at least you evened out this week and are still doing great!

Have a great week everyone and just do your best!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
