Hi everyone! It's been a week and I thought I would see how everyone is doing on the program. I know I had a great week until Friday night and I was lazy with dinner and cooked a Chicken helper that was 8 points (I only get 21pts and I had no WP or AP left). Then Saturday I ate well just ate a ton. Sunday I ate well, but then I made cupcakes. BUT I made the cupcakes with cake mix and diet soda and the icing was reduced sugar. One cupcake still came to 5pts and I had 2. Then I had a Skinny Cow ice cream and I WW Smart One dessert. Grrrr… I am mad at myself. If I just stayed on program this weekend my weight would have gone down. I have less than a month to my BD photo session and I wanted to be down 15lbs by then.

So how is everyone else doing?

nicdeb928 - Good luck at your meeting tonight! Oh it is so hard to stay on track when you have so much going on! I was at 18pts last year and it was very heard to stay at that on a normal day when you don't have to worry about eating out. I found myself working out alot to earn my AP and eating those so I wasn't so hungry.

Let us know who your meeting went.

Oh, I had a thought, I think I am going to put my weight loss on here every Monday to keep me motivated (I weigh myself on Saturday morning). Having to put my weight loss online for others to see will get on the right track so I don't have to post that I gained weight!

So even though my weekend was bad, I did lose 1lb from last week. But I have been this weight for a month now so I only lost what I just gained.

Any time you lose you are going in the right direction! You should be happy that you lost!

YAY! Congrats! 1.8lbs is great!

Well what I have been doing is egg whites with light cheese and low calorie bread or Kashi cereal for breakfast with a piece of fruit. Then a turkey sandwich with a zero point salad, a larger salad, soup, or a lean cuisine or smart one for lunch. I always have a snack with fruit and a zero point yogurt, or a fiber one bar, then dinner is usually a three piece meal (meat, starch, and a lot of veggies), or some recipe depending on the amount of points I have left.

The points on the chicken breast depend on how many ounces it is. If it is a skinless, boneless 3oz chicken breast it is 3pts. I believe it come to 1 pt per ounce. If you donâ€t have a scale the chicken breast should be the size of your palm or a deck of cards.

11lbs in only a month is great! That's more than 2lbs a week. It seems the weight is coming off fine. How long have you gone without any weight loss? Are you eating all your daily points? Not eating all of your daily points will not only cause the scale to stop moving but you can start to gain weight too. To lose weight safely you should lose between 1 to 2lbs a week so in 8 weeks (2 months) you should expect to lose 16lbs.

ummmm about a week.... I try to eat all my points but sometimes i find that i'm not hungry and i still have points left. With my last weight end my points got lowered because of the weight loss and because i'm now supplementing instead of breastfeeding only. I also try to work out at least once a day. I'm sure i'll be okay if I only lose 16lbs. People tell me that i've set my expectation way to high but i'm sure as i see the weight come off I may change my mind on how much i actually want to lose. My number one goal is to fit in my dress because i bought it to small to motivate me to lose weight.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
