OOT Bags Done and in Mexico! Long w/Pics/list

Recommended Posts

My mom took all of my items down for me (via car) and we assembled them outside our casita (much better than my little bridal workshop downstairs). It wasn't a relaxing holiday, but I could have been here in the cold so I will take working on the OOT's outside in the sun with a beautiful view over this 50 degree weather any day! So, here they are, they are all assembled with personal notes to each already in them and tagged. I certainly hope we don't have a big change in guest in the next 90 days!

I did 30 bags. The bags came from Walmart $5/ea. The towels came from Beach Towels wholesale manufacturer of custom embroidered monogrammed bath towel for corporate events

DIY Water Bottles (they have a message to guests on one side, logo in the middle and marriage facts on the other side). Bought water at Costco in Cabo (much more expensive than it is here) and made my own labels printed on water resistant labels from Labelsbythesheet.com. Large ones went in Welcome bags and small are for the cocktail and reception if people want water (we did 180 bottles)

DIY Lipbalm (used logo with Besos! at the top and SPF 15 at the bottom with our names). I acually redid these with the same water resistant paper as the water bottles so they look better now, but this shows the label layout.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
