Lee's Tours

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

I just wanted to let everyone know about the fantastic service I have rec'd from Norma at Lee's Tours out of Ocho Rios.

Today I booked a private tour for my whole group to Dunn's River Falls with Shopping and Beer for $25/pp. My FI and thought it was a great idea instead of lugging OOT bags to Jamaica. It was so easy and stress free.

I cannot say enough about how nice and accommodating Norma was. She customized our package just for us.

One of my girlfriends booked her travel to and from the airport with her and is so happy with the service.

I included their website in case anyone is interested.

Although I didn't use Lee's services I did make contact with Norma about setting up an 2 hour afternoon cruise on our wedding day - to fill the time after the ceremony & before dinner (11am wedding) - and she was super nice & responded quickly to my emails.

I didn't end up doing the cruise afterall but that was mainly because my MOH was pregnant wink.gif

Norma is fantastic....Can't say enough good things about Lee's. We also did the Dunn's and shopping with them as well as the private transport to the hotel from the airport.

The drivers are awesome...polite, acomadating...etc. Norma also gave us a phone to use for the week should we need to call for taxis, excurtions etc.

Does ROR schedule pickup from the airport for their guests? Like a shuttle?
I just want to clarify for you. ROR does not offer any kind of shuttle service. Some travel packages may have it included but if not you are responsible for your own transportation to and from the airport. We used Lee's and it was cheap and convenient compared to the alternatives. We really liked not having to share our ride with people going to other resorts.

I guess I could add one more piece of advice. Try and keep your group together when you arrive at the airport. Maybe ask everyone to meet up after picking up their luggage and before going through customs. Once you pass through customs, you end up in a busy lobby area with shuttle drivers and taxi drivers all trying to recruit passengers. We had to go outside to find our driver (holding "Lee's Taxi" and "Ocho Rios" signs) and while I knew what we were looking for, some of my guests were ready to jump on board with any shuttle there.

I have some people flying in from different places and not coming with the big group, so we used Lee's to get them from the airport. Some are flying into Montego Bay, there will be four in the "mini-limo" and it is costing them $20 per person and they even took their drink orders so they have the drinks for them when they get in the car. They are also picking up my grandparents who are flying into the Kingston airport, a little more pricey, I think it was $150. But they are great to deal with!! I spoke with a lady there called Yvonne and she was excellent!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
