Has anyone sent out both save the date card and magnets together? Is that too much?

I like the save the dates that go along with my wedding invitation, but I also want to send out magnets for everyone.

Does anyone have any suggestionshuh.gif

Thanks!!!

yup, I agree with Petals... do both! :) Either use a glue dot or buy a cheap punch and just slide the magnet into a cut out lip. Okay... that didn't make much sense. but what I meant is a punch that looks like a half circle. It gives you a little lip to stick a magnet in. Super easy and quick! :)

I'm sending an invitation along with a save the date magnet together. I made them both on Vistaprint and am waiting for them to arrive. I didn't want to do a save the date and an invitation because I figured they were like the same thing. So I did an invitation and then decided to make a save the date magnet with our date, a picture of us and our travel agent information. I know a lot of people throw out or misplace the invitation and then they're scrambling to figure out the travel agent information. This way they can put the magnet on their fridge and have all the information to contact our travel agent to make their trip arrangements.

A suggestion for vistaprint.com is if you can't find something you really like take one of their premade designs and then just delete everyone on it and create your own. Or you can delete certain parts off of it and change it around. It's a little tricky but once you get the hang of it it's not bad and their prices are super reasonable. Actually they had a special where you can get 25 magnets for free! I got 50 for $7.00, well actually it was like $11 or $12 because I had to pay a fee for using a picture on it but still I think that's really reasonable for std magnets!

Those Save the Dates that you have picked out are really beautiful!!! They'd be super easy for someone to create in photoshop for you though... and then you can upload that design and print in VistaPrint. If that's what you'd like to do.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
