Does anyone have their dates confirmed for 2010 yet? I have contacted them to secure a date for Jan 2010 (as we are trying to get a group rate organized) and they have told me they are not booking 2010 weddings until April of this year.

 

However, some girls on another forum have their dates for the Majestic Colonial booked for all the way up to May 2010.

 

Just wondering if anyone here has their date already or has had issues confirming a 2010 date?

My trip is confirmed but my wedding date is not confirmed. I was told that they don't have pricing info yet for the 2010 wedding packages and once that becomes available then they will book my date.

 

I fail to see what the price of the wedding has anything to do with setting the wedding date since I already put a deposit to go to that hotel anyway, not like I can change it without substantial penalty. DUHHHHHHHH

I got the same answer as you...they won't reserve our wedding date until the 2010 prices are out. Supposedly they are coming out within the next few weeks. We will see if they will actually let us confirm then! I hope so...I just want to book it already and send out my save the dates!

I was able to book my Nov 09 wedding in Feb 08 so just give it a couple more weeks and they will probably book it then.

Hi Erin how are you, have you decided on the majestic? I am debating on that one or the Melia or the Iberostar and not sure which to pick. Hoping you can give me some insight you have found.

I am looking to get a hotel in July 2010 in DR. my TA told me that I won't know until September, is this true?

From my understanding (and according to the email I received from the WC at the Majestic) they will not be booking 2010 weddings until April 2009.
I should be getting quotes from my travel agent this week, so hopefully I can find out more information!!!

I've been on another forum and a few girls there have said that their dates at the Majestic were mmm dd, 2010 (I believe one of them was around May sometime) and I asked them if it was confirmed yet but didn't really get an answer from any of them.

I'm just scared that the Majestic is starting to book some, and not others. I would hate to have the deposit on my travel and then find out that we can't get married that week when April rolls around!!

If anyone finds out anything, let us know!
