What people don't realize and i didn't....when you book through a TA you get a discount. For example, my group and I got the early booking special so for 7 nights it was $735 a person (only $105/night)....this is super low so it's discounted below what the normal cost is because we booked early which means no free wedding anyway. Not a big deal to me but I don't know of anyone who could get a free wedding unless booking through the hotel directly.
I knew there was a catch in there somehow, but I wasn't too sure how it worked. Thanks for clearing it up!

usually it's $90, but if it's for the wedding day, they drop it down to $50. Kids are the same price.

Hi Ali,

I was there in may and I hated the beach set up. It is in the middle of everyone sunbathing and people came out of the ocean during a wedding and were huddling around topless, in speedos, and tiny bikinis. I felt like some of them were getting too close to the point it was almost intrusive vs watching from a far which is to be expected. My fiance and I chose 4pm in the Gazebo and will do pictures before with a 1st look moment and then our beach pictures after the ceremony. Just my thoughts!

this is correct !! but I think that's the job of your Wedding Photogapher and the Wedding Cordinator to keep this people (bikini and other Hotel Guests ) far away from your wedding!I have a lot of weddings in the macestic Colonial or Elegance and never had problems on the beach !!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
