You can book symbolic ceremony's early, its just the civil ceremony's that you hvae to wait for. I have already booked a symbolic ceremony for December 2, 2011.

ANYONE GETTING MARRIED AT THE ELEGANCE IN JULY 2011??? I'm getting married July 16th 2011.... 

 

I've found that a lot of brides have been splitting the costs of things like sashes and drapings and alcohol bottles with brides with around the same wedding dates... and also Photographers..

 

ANYONE INTERESTED!?!?!? PM ME or POST... lets get this post going!!

This is soo exciting to read all of these posts!  We are getting married June 29, 2011 at Majestic Elegance.  We are having a civil ceremony at the gazebo location at 1:00pm.  I'm worried about the heat this time of day.  Anyone who got married in the summer around this time please let me know what your experience was!  I'm also hearing a lot about how the WC you communicate with during your planning is not necessarily the same WC when you get to the resort.  I'm just wondering if they all communicate with each other?  Am I going to have to go over all the details again with someone new? Our ceremony like i said is at 1, do we have to wait after that until 6:30 to have dinner or is there an option to eat early (say 4).  If not, what do people do with all the inbetween time?  Also, we are having the dinner that's included in either the seafood or steakhouse and I'm wondering if there's enough space to cut the cake, do small toasts, ect.  I know I'm full of questions, I'm just excited!   Thanks for all your help ladies!

congrats islandbride for having ur date booked. I am currently deciding on the resort. Majestic is top 5. I personally think that if the ceremony set up for apm, in Domenican time it prob will begon at 2, then u have plenty of time to do ur pictures and just mingle with everyone. Im sure they will be able to sit u guys a bit earlier for dinner. Oh i meant to ask you, are you renting there sashes for the chair?
