Hopefully I can help answer your questions a bit!  I am currently in the process of packing for our wedding/honeymoon at ERC!!  Dress codes are very common at a lot of the higher end AI resorts.  As far as I know from my site visit last fall, they do require that the guys wear long pants - khakis or jeans are ok.  However, this is only for dinner.  During the day, you can eat at any of the restaurants in swimming trunks, shorts, t-shirts, flip flops, etc.  My fiancee is bringing one pair of jeans and two pairs of khakis (one of which is for our rehearsal dinner).  They only wear them for a couple hours at night so he's planning to rewear a lot!!

Let me know if I can help out with anything else!  I leave on Thursday and get married next Monday so I will be sure to fill everyone in on all the details!

Oh yeah... I can personally email you guys the PDF files if you are interested in them.  However, the information that I have will be a little different for you since you are getting married in 2011 and I think some of the prices have changed!  If you email Nayeli and ask her for updated wedding information she should be able to send you updated sheets!

Hello Ladies.  Is anyone having communication trouble with the WC at the resort?  I emailed her twice and still have not heard back from her.  I'm pretty frustrated as I want to confirm my wedding date ASAP.  Please let me know if you are having a similar situation or how you were able to get in contact with her.  Thanks so much!

DON`T WORRY!!!  I am going to make this short and sweet because I just got married at ERC last night and am enjoying my honeymoon.  Nayeli is VERY busy with weddings and will get back to you as soon as she can.  I found it most effective to resend your original email if she hasn´t responded after a couple days - you can also call her at the resort.  It does get difficult to contact her via email because she is so busy but she is absolutely AMAZING!!  My wedding was absolutely perfect and I owe it all to her. She made all of my dreams come true!! I will be getting pictures and video back shortly and will be sure to post it for all to see!!!!

If you are planning a wedding at ERC you will be one of the luckiest brides in the world!!!  Relax and enjoy the planning because it goes soooo fast!

Aliole,

You're so sweet to be responding from Mexico.  Congratulations on your wedding!  I'm so happy to hear that it went well.  I did actually hear back for Nayeli and she apologized for the delay.  I was getting worried, because it had been almost two weeks and I want to confirm my wedding.  Thanks for the reassurance.

I hope you enjoy your honeymoon and the rest of your stay at ERC.  Can't wait to see pictures upon your return!

Best Wishes!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
