Our wedding is a month away! So I can definitely say that now I have the answers to all possible questions anyone may have about getting married at ERC. Feel free to ask! I am a very "detail-oriented" bride so trust me, I have asked the wedding coordinator every possible question out there :)

Katusha, ours is 6 months and I just don't really want to pay thousands of dollars for GROSS food. Thats not good.....Plus I would have been on my diet for 9 1/2 months and want REAL food that is good! (Im really looking forward to that) ;-)

Katusha, I am going to write Veronica and ask if they are going to do anything to fix the "food problem." Maybe you should do the same. If enough people complain, maybe something would be done.

Lindsey, I also emailed you. Did you have to pay to get your hair done?

Yeah, I might email her about the food issue. I am currently confronting her on a big issue- we have a group of 30 for our wedding party and we want to have a welcome dinner the night before the wedding at one of the restaurants. Veronica claims that we have to pay $18/per person for that. I think it's beyond absurd, the resort is ALL INCLUSIVE. Just because we are a large group does not mean we have to pay for this dinner! I am beyond angry....

Katusha,

Please let us know what she says! Is she saying it's $18 a person to have a private welcome dinner? Or $18 a person just for everyone to eat as a group at one of the restaurants?

I have just about given up on a welcome dinner unless our parents want to pay to have one off the resort somewhere. She told me Agave is the only one who will take a reservation in advance for a group that large, but they aren't open Fridays and our wedding is on a Sat. I suppose we could do a Thursday welcome dinner, but not if I have to pay extra just to eat together.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
