The cake was included in the package. It was not extra, even with all of the requests I had!

We also decided to just have a reception dinner. It was beautiful and intimate! We brought an ipod and a dock so that we could have music playing in the background for the reception. It worked out really well!

Endlesslove: I sent him an email on Monday and he replied the following morning. I sent him another email yesterday but have not received a reply just yet. We leave next Tuesday and the wedding is on Friday. I can't wait. What day do you arrive?

I wouldn't stress out too much. You might want to try calling him. He's usually in the office and can answer all of your questions in a few minutes. Best of luck!

What has anyone on the GOLD package selected for the meal? Do we have to chose Menu I, II, or III or can we mix and match? The main meals seem unusual......fish and chicken together...seems like a BBQ match. I actually find it quite funny. Most of the brides on here say that the meals are nice though.

You need to choose one of the options from either the silver or gold. If anyone has any dietary restrictions or allergies, let Ramon know and he will work out something for them.

Dimenzi - I just returned today after having my wedding on May 7th, I will be writing a review as soon as I get settled in. Regarding your question about the menu options, Ramon will let you mix and match from both the Gold and Silver package options. We had the Pecan Crusted Mahi Mahi with the Chicken stuffed with Seafood and it was delicious. If you have any other questions let me know.

Are the napkins white fabric? I assume this to be the case. It's just that our place settings are you to be personalised ribbons with the guests names on them tied around the napkin.

Do they provide vases for the bridesmaids flowers?

What things has Ramon said no to that Veronica said yes to?

Thanks.
My daughter just got married at ERC on April 30th. We met with Ramon on the evening that we arrived to finalize plans. We arrived with our pink binders packed with all of our emails from Veronica to present day, not knowing what to expect. Ramon was wonderful! He went above and beyond and was awesome with every little detail that he knew was important to us. I had a blank card with the design that matched my daughter's invitations and we had used this design to carry through her theme for other things. Ramon scanned the design and used it for our menu cards at the reception. If he had things in his office that we could use that would save us, he was very generous with his offers without us asking! The flowers were one of our biggest decisions and he was very knowledgeable and very helpful with his patient suggestions. The flowers were gorgeous as was every other little detail that Ramon attended too. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him.... he was nonstop constantly.... if not with our wedding, you saw him constantly bustling around the resort. You will love him and dearly appreciate his devotion to his job. He takes pride in his service to the bride and is just too amazing for words! You will be in excellent hands with him! We had special favors that Ramon personally personalized for us. The house linens were white but we went with colored tablecloths and runners at a small additional cost. There was supposed to be a charge for the vases for the bridesmaids flowers but he had vases that were available for us to use that were perfect. I guess it all depends on what he has available at the time as some brides leave some things behind to be recycled. At any rate, you will be blessed to have the service of this wonderful WC! We could not have asked for more!

Thank you. Ramon said I could my guests two options for the main meals. We were thinking of the Grilled Pork as one them. The other may be the Mahi Mahi with teh Chicken Stuffed after you've said it was delicious.

We just got back from ERC last night, and our wedding was perfect. I plan on writing a review in the next few days, but I just wanted to say Ramon was wonderful. He went above and beyond for us. Because of him we were the first couple to have a reception in the Mexican garden gazebo and it was perfect. He even scored us front row seats to the Michael Jackson show (I am a HUGE fan, and was devastated when I found it was on our wedding night, but we were able to make it!)

Have no fear in getting married here. I saw a lot of weddings within 9 days, and they were all beautiful!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
