Good thread Shelley!

1. Beer, beer and more beer. Im a good Canadian girl, what can I say? Beer also comes in its own no-fuss container and you dont have to lug mix around.

2. Buttershots (butterscotch ripple shnapps) dont knock it till you try it.

3. White wine (Jackson Triggs Gewurztraminer or Reisling)

4. BUBBLY! Hildebrand Trius Brut

5. White Freezies (creme de banane, red sour puss, sprite)

Lisa you are allowed to have 1 drink every 3 hours and it does not pass into breast milk. That is what I am doing :) Beer is actually good when breast feeding and helps with milk production, look into it. My doctor told me the same thing.

Really? I thought if you drink, you have to pump and dump. hummm....maybe I will do some reading today and maybe have one drink. I haven't had a drink since I found out i was pregnant in March. I bet I'm such a light weight now.

Well...I will be waiting at home alone to see if FI gets off work on time (11:30 wtf.gif). If he is not too late getting home we will be going to a friends for a few bevies. My new fav is the Bacardi orange smoothies. The latest thing that I tried & loved is the bacardi straw.daquiri frozen mix, with half a can of Minute Maid frozen limeade - and rum & ice of course. It was soooo good - the lime took away some of the sweet from the daquiri!!

I'm mostly a beer girl, but when I'm feelin' a little fancy I like to drink vodka gimlets. It's basically just vodka and lime juice, but it's so good! I ordered it a wedding the other night and the bar tender looked shocked because he said it was an old persons drink. I had never heard that, and I don't freaking care because it's so yummy!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
