I would definitely recommend measuring inches....that is where I got the most satisfaction. I had to stop since it was costing me a small fortune, but I didn't notice a lot of weight drop, but definitely inches! Maybe once it gets closer to my big day I'll re-invest

I used a trainer once too and dropped about ten pounds. I won't do it by myslef.
