I voted for 1 because I like more flowy for a DW, is it a DW? If not then I like number 2 better.

I am not a fan of the satin for a DW, I think mat dresses look nicer on the beach, does it have to be satin? If its not a DW, then I think number 2 is perfect.

ETA: If someone else has number 2 I think you should go with number 1, I think its silly to have 2 people in the same dress but everyone else different, IMHO you should either all be the same or all be different, does that make sense? Also, $100 more is a lot of money for something you will only wear once, I totally say go for number 1.

No, it's not a destination wedding, it's an outdoor wedding though. I just posted it here because I wanted all of your advice!

There is actually another girl wearing number 1 too, but with the sash. But originally we were all suppose to wear that one, then the 4th bridesmaid chose something else so we were told to pick our own. So it won't be like I'm copying the cousin in #1, because we were all suppose to wear that one (plus I'll wear the one without the sash so it will be a little different). Plus there isn't the same dynamic as there is with this other friend of mine wearing #2.

I do agree though it's a bit weird that there will be 4 girls, and 3 different dresses. It would be best if we were all the same or all different.

Here is the similar one without the sash (it looks identical, but it's actually a different dress). It looks slightly less flattering as you can see a bit my belly but I think it's just cause I was slouching a bit. Also they didn't pin the chest part back enough (the sample was too big) so it's not as tight against the chest.

We'll see what my hubby says and whether he thinks it's worth the extra 100$ to go with number 2!
im the odd ball of the group. i think you should try the one that is similar to #1, without the sash though (the d409 you mentioned), and like you also mentioned - alil shortened. i think you should have your own dress and not the same as your friend who copy catted you! AH dont u hate that! i also like the top of # 1 better anyway and once it shorten a tad, i think it will be perfect.

YAY let me know when you decide!

Hmmmm....tough choice. While I do like #2 which is really cute, I think I like #1 better & without the sash. I definitely think that its a dress that you can wear again without it looking like a BM dress. I don't think you can go wrong with either but I really like #1.

Which one are you really leaning towards?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
