I finally uploaded a couple of pics that my friend took. here are our bags & their contents.

I bought the bags wholesale from a friend - they were around $2.25 each. they were nice and big and I saw people carrying them around all weekend. We also ordered our koozies from her.. pics of them to follow.

The mini meds were also purchased whsle and included - aleve, asprin, pepto, immodium, dramamine, this "sexual stimulant" stuff (for fun!) and some energy shooters - also for fun. We also bought some sunscreeen wholesale. If anyone needs any I think we had about 20 extra tubes leftover. I'll be looking to sell them once I get my act together.

Food-wise we bought almost everything from Costco. We included letters and some maps that we picked up from a kiosk our first day in town. I think that the cost per bag was around $10? maybe more... we kind of lost track.

Ya'll know how that goes rolleyes.gif

Hey! I also love the bags and would be interested in finding out where to get them!

Also - did you buy everything from Costco at home or at the Costco in Cabo? Are there any rules about bringing lots of food down to Mexico with you? I have nightmares of pushing red at the Airport, having all my bags searched and being yarded off to jail for 'food traficking' tee hee

I would love to know where you got the OTC meds wholesale too! I want to make things practical for the OOT bags. So far we're doing sunscreen and after-sun care; koozies for water bottles in our wedding colors; plastic margarita glasses with colored liquid in them (wedding colors) so you can freeze them upside down and we're going to put margarita mix packs in them. We're also thinking of pumpable water guns; playing cards and dice; And I really wanted to find some cheap bug repellent, as well as Immodium, Pepto, a small first aid kit with bandaids and aleve too!

I will ask her if she is interested, but to be honest she is SUPER busy... she works on a lot of popular tv programs and movies. Our order was 100% her doing us a favor - and even with the koozies we had a 200 min which was okay because we had so many guests.

I will defintely let her know abou it though wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
