    Hello to all,

I was just wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom or inisight to marrying a man with 2 school age kids (6 boy & 13 girl). I have no kids of my own, but understand there could be some hurdles when dealing with blended families and kids at this age. Right now we are one big happy family, but is it too good to be true? I tend to get a pretty bias perspective from people close to me, so I would like an objective view from someone that may be directly involved or were involved in.

    Thanks in advance

I don't think it'll be easy but take one day at a time. If they were gonna be evil I would have thought it would have happened before now.

Just be their friend and don't give them a hard time let their dad do it. FI said that was the prob with his family his mother let the step dad dish out everything and sometime it was really severe and it was really hard.

I agree take 1 day at a time and be their friend, let the dad make the important decisions and discipline them. Good Luck. I have 2 children of my own 21, 23 and they accept my FI with open arms, but his girls 17, 19 want nothing to do with me, which I feel is wrong but thats a hole different topic!
