I am doing a pocketfold invitation and plan on using a postcard RSVP. The postage is cheaper, and I don't have to stuff another envelope inside the invite. Right now, the invites are in the work. I just got the design all layed out, and have ordered the paper supplies. I hope to print and assemble by the end of the month. I'll make sure to post pics when they're done.

Which reminds me....what should I put as the respond by date? Our wedding is Oct. 12.

We decided not to do STDs, and instead, just send out our invites early so that we could include all the accomodations/reservations information. We are also going to include an STD for the AHR in the invite.

We sent postcards reminding guests to rsvp online but you can design these however you like. Very easy and high quality, glossy postcards. I had the most fun designing these. I added the images I liked, arranged them, picked a background, and added the wording for both sides. You can put a pic of you two or whatever you want. Fast shipping and $19.95 for 100. Highly recommended, nobody believed I designed them myself! FYI the site makes awesome stationary too.

honestly, I don't have an exact count of how many guests we invited. I would assume about 250+ (including children)! But we are expecting about 150.

By the way, I just noticed today that we gave 12 more (yes) responses made through our website!

These are what we included---- very basic and not related to any theme/color we are using in the wedding... I did them in PrintShop software. Very nice to use because you can easily save it as a PDF or JPEG without any image issues.... I printed it on some leftover postcard paper I had from Office Depot. I used to print photos and graphics I made for my daughter on the postcard paper and I'd sent them to her when I was traveling--- the paper was usually very light and I'd wind up using some laminating sheets to strengthen them. I was worried about that with these, but figured what the hell, I'll send them without for once. They've all been coming back without hardly any damage to them...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
