Mandy, I just figured that out! That is ok. It will be small and intimate! I am in a toss up at EDR or Excellence Riviera Cancun. Did you enjoy EDR? I hear alot of good things about both!

Congratulations!!! Welcome to the forum. I have stayed at EDR before and my FI and I loved it, but unfortunately they do not allow children, so this was an automatic no for us. (My sister is 13) If you do a search for either of the resorts using the search function at the top, you will find TONS of info on both. Good luck and Happy Planning!!!

Congratulations!!! My travel agent suggested either secrets or excellence resort because you can get a complimentary wedding if we have enough guest (we have a big family). The only problem I have is that I cant plan anything until a year after the desired date. And the website doesnt really give much information about the stuff I need. But as plus you get a wedding coordinator I guess that will take out some of the stress I'll be experiencing this year.

But Good Luck and read about the rules with a Mexican wedding... Like the blood test (which may take up to 15 days). I'm still trying to figure out if the wedding certificate will be in english. We might just end up getting married here and then have the ceremony in Mexico

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
