fingers crossed!!

I have yet to see anyone post any pictures of the Beaches Cajun restaurant "Jambalya". It seems like everyone uses Uncle Tony's steakhouse. Is there a particular reason for this? If anyone has pictures of this dinner location I would love to see it!

poddoc,

welcome to the forum!

the cajun restaurant is super cute..it has a sourthern sort of feel with blue accents.

i'm pretty sure you can google it for pics.  i'm actually considering using it for our reception...although if someone had a tiffany blue color scheme it would be perfect.  honestly, the food isn't really 'cajun' rather its a jamaican cook's version of watered down cajun so its not nearly as good as authentic New Orleans cajun food..but there's a nice variety and they have an appetizer bar with the most amazing coconut shrimp that i've ever had.

until next time, happy planning!!

For all past brides who used Rashel (or another off site make up artist for that matter), where did she apply your makeup.  I am planning on having my hair done at the spa in the hotel, but wanted to know if Rashel would be allowed to apply my makeup in the spa as well, or would the make up have to be done in my room?

Thanks.

Good question, I was wondering the same thing.

Rashel did it in my room.  To be honest, there is NOT a lot of room to move around in the spa/salon.  I would suggest she just do it in your room.

Just wanted to share what I got back from Silvia...

They will not lock in 2011 prices for 2012 brides. She said that she will forward the 2012 information with any prices changes as soon as it is available. (maybe prices will stay the same?!)

Thanks so much for the heads up!  I just emailed Tiffany.  Hopefully there is no one on the wait list.  Happy planning to you too!

I just wanted to let you know that I had a wedding date reserved at the Suites for Saturday, July 21, 2012 but I am going to have my wedding off site and go with the Beach Resort for the accommodations instead so I just e-mailed Nicole to let her know that I am canceling my reservation so I just figured I would let you know that date would be available now unless there is someone else in front of you on the wait list.

Happy Planning:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
