Congratulations! It looks like you had a very beautiful wedding.  I am looking forward to seeing more pictures! Did you also use Marcia Roberts for video? I am trying decide whether to use Nas weddings, RG weddings, or Marcia Roberts.

Just a couple things...Nicole and Tiffany are amazing. I don't know how to explain this, but don't be upset with them for not returning your calls or emails because they are working 24/7. You will understand when you get there.  It's more like they need more help, so I would send the complaints to the Iberostar CEO--haha.

Marcia Roberts rocks! Her and Christopher were hilarious and made the shoots a lot of fun!

Floral Fantasies was  also amazing also. I got a ton of gorgeous flowers for such a good price. delivered with no problems.

Here is a pic of the ceremony before we came down. I will try to add more in the next couple days!!!

Your centerpieces and cake look fabulous!  Was this a standard cake or did you upgrade the flowers?

Did you or anyone else take the knives for cake cutting with you or did the Suites provide them?  I hadn't really thought about trying to take a knife with us (airport security), so I am really hoping they provide something nice to use.

This is the standard cake and not an upgrade.  I didn't bring the knife set.  Never even thought of it actually.  Im telling you, keep it simple!  The setting @ Iberostar is enough and the small details will go unnoticed.  I promised!  The do a great job with everything there.

That is all great to hear!!!  I hadn't thought of it either until I saw your picture.  I really don't want to have to worry about those kinds of details.  Thanks!

Good Question!

If you have your music played on a cd, who did you get to take control over it?

Ladies, in Jamaica they say "no problems only situations."  My wedding was so laid back it wasn't even funny but when I tell you it was PERFECT, I mean it.  I do not remember what part of the song played at all.  I walked out to "Giving Myself" by Jennifer Hudson.  Once I locked eyes with my hubby, it was only me and him.  My guest looked like the Wii characters, floating around! LOL!  For all I know, they could have plaid a Mickey Mouse or Barney song!  Lol!

Oh and you give your CD to Nicole and she gives it to the DJ.  Just have a note of what to play when.  We had a CD with like 12 songs.  Song #1 was to walk out to.  Song #12 was to walk out to.  Jazz in the middle to play for signing of documents, during champagne toast and while we took pics.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
