Recommended Posts

Need some assistance fellow Iberostar Brides. Im trying to set my wedding colors. I'm thinking about either different shades of pink with ivory (fuschia is my favorite color) but then, I fell in love with a Dessy color called Oasis that Im thinking about pairing up with ivory...can you think of what other colors would go with Oasis?Oasis Dress Dessy.jpg  Can I include fuschia in there somewhere?

chan porty,

I'm not doing a dove release or sand ceremony. I think it will be beautiful with the beach, blue sky and all of our closest family and friends there. If it's too short, then we start the celebration early on the beach with champange!! I think simple and elegant is the way to go!

Mrsgreene,

If you know which restaurant you will use, include the meal options on your RSVP card.

I just started asking my guests for their meal selections now and asked Nicole when I should send her that info. I also asked her what is the best way to let the waitstaff know, who ordered what. When I hear back from her I will let you know.

Anyone else have any suggestions on the easiest way to let the wait staff know who ordered what?

Chan porty,

We are doing a hand ceremony, but I agree with Marlena, it will beautiful regardless of what you decide just based on the setting alone. My two cents is that it's a wedding not a show. Do what you want and don't worry about the guests being bored. LOL

I'm biased, my colors are shades of pink and white. LOL

I think most bright colors will go with Oasis such as fuchsia, bright orange, etc.

Brandyshaunta:

From other threads, the brides said the sand got messed up on the way home. That is the reason I am not incorporating that aspect into my ceremony.

One bride did "recreate" the ceremony, once they got home though so it looked nice again.

It just occured to me I can't ask my guest yet; I am not sure where I am having my reception. I want it at Aunt Rubys, but I am not sure if I will have enough guests. I can always find out once I finalize my reception venue.

Can you let me know what Nicole says anyway.

Thanks

J

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
