1)  Does anyone have a daily activity list for IRHS and IRHB??  I would like to start formulating our week schedule based off of the activities they have going on at the resorts, but I don't want to bug the WCs.  If no one has one, I will email the resort when it gets closer.

2)  Cost question:  Do we pay the cost of the wedding and the reception dinner when we get to the resort?  And, is that put on credit card?  Also, how about the flowers (Tai Flora) and musicians.  Do they all take credit card or cash and when do we pay them?   I am just wondering what to plan for.  I even ordered a no foreign transaction fee card for all of these expenses!  Again, if no one knows this answer, I will ask the WC as it gets closer.

Sorry for all the questions on a Saturday morning!   Hope everyone is having a great time planning!!

Hi! They actually charged the wedding and reception to our room, so we paid with our cc after we checked out. We paid Tai Flora using their credit card authorization form before the wedding. We did not have the musicians but we did have the fire dancer which we gave the WC the cash for at the time of the event.

There is no bonfire at the beach party in front of the Suites on Saturday nights, at least not in July when we were there for the wedding.  They set up a stage on the beach and they have a DJ.  Everyone dances for a while and then the Star Friends dance and get the crowd involved.  They have a guest dance contest among 4 guests for 'King of the Beach'.  2 from our group participated and 1 won.  It was hysterical!  They do have a fire dancer perform for about 15 min. or so, but there is no bonfire is that is important to you.

Good to know, thanks IslandBride. What time does this beach party get underway on a Sat night?

I should also note that they clarified the following for me:

"As it relates to the Beach BBQ this takes place on a Monday & Thursday starting at 12:30-2:00pm and Beach Party is on a Saturday which starts at 9:00pm. Please note that these schedules are subjected to change so itâ€s best if you check in with us at least a week in advance since the entertainment department does a weekly schedule."

Is there any way I can give you my email and you send these to me personally? I can't open up the files because they say I have not responded enough to posts :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
