I'm with you on being concerned and stressed about the WCs. I thought once you were 6 weeks out that they'd be much more responsive!?  I've managed to complete 95% of my planning without contacting Nicole thanks to the great ladies and wealth of info here on this site, but now I need to hear from her, and nothing! And don't even get me started on the florist (Tai Flora, that is).

 

Someone please reassure us that someone will start paying attention...and soon?!

We're using Roan Robinson for our pictures.  He's been great to work with so far and is verrrrry reasonable!  Also, We're getting married the day before you at the Beach!  I still have so much to do!

I do not want to discourage any brides who are using the hotel's photographer HOWEVER when we went to the resort ( stayed at suites) for our site visit we used to resort photographer for our engagement shoot. Unfortunately the pictures were not good, the photographer did not use our suggestions AND the lighting was horrible and pictures came out fuzzy. I just wanted to share my experiance I would not want future brides to have bad wedding pictures... That was just my opinion!

Many thanks for getting back to me. If you could send me some details around Merrick Cousley that would be great thanks (rebeccaporter09@gmail.com). I've had some really great help from the ladies on here, much more than the WC's too. I'm just doing some comparisons on prices before I decide on the photographer. Just a little worried that I may have left it a little late and also not sure how to book someone in from outside the resort. As I can't get hold of the WCs I'm not sure on the process.

 

Also I haven't even been given my wedding time slot yet, very worried as I can't even give the photographers a time. I've never heard from the WCs, no one has ever been in contact to ask about my requirements and I can never get an answer when I try, so like you I'm just doing a lot of it myself based on research. I'm sure these things will be ok in the end, just panicking with less that 6 weeks to go.

Thank you all for the comments on the resort salon, I have booked them for hair and make-up   One less thing to worry about!

 

Sjay - i checked out Merrick's site and he work looks great, much better than a lot of other photographers I have check out.  I was wondering if you would mind also sending me his info when you get a chance (ewendt@hotmail.com).  I am also looking for a smaller picture package, with coverage for 2 or 3 hours and a DVD with the pictures, nothing fancy   Thanks so much!

Another lady recommended Roan Robinson, his work looks brilliant and very reasonably priced! I'm still trying to find availability at the moment. I still have lots to do but looks like I'll be finalising most things when over there as I'm sure we'll get much more time with the co-ordinators. Have you been given your wedding time for the day yet? I'll be sure to look out for you

I've been in touch with Floral Fantasies, they said they are welcomed onto the property to set up but they believe the Bride pays the vendor fee.  I have an email to Nicole to find out.  Either way, I sent an e-mail to TaiFlora August 29 and made 2 phone calls and still have not heard anything.  Floral Fantasies is quick to respond, so the vendor fee is well worth it to me!

Just wondering if anyone's heard from Tai Flora recently? They've been MIA on me for a month since I sent my flower and decor order to them.

 

Like the WC, I can't believe the complete lack of communication I'm still experiencing even though I'm about 6 weeks away from my wedding!

 

When do they finally start paying attention?! Argh!
