I love you planning thread. I also love the BM's dresses, where did you get them. I can't wait to hear your review when you come back. Where are you having your reception?

I got the BMs dresses from Go Jane.com  They run real small so make sure u get larger sizes.  I plan on doing the reception in Calabash for the air-conditioning!

Ms. Smith to be great planning thread. Your day is coming. Pray and stay as stress free as possible. Calabash seems to have great reviews. The only thing I read that was on the bad side was there meal portions are small, which is fine because after eating all inclusive all week a small meal would'nt hurt :) Your BM dresses are hot and so are those reception shoes. Are most people wearing wedges for beach weddings? I have come to the conclusion that I may have to go for the wedges and heels for reception. I am not a flip flop person at all. I just did not plan on buying two pays of shoes I may never really wear again :/

I've officially decided Iberostar Rose Hall Beach it is! Now time to send in a request for the date we want! We're planning to get married January 2012. Airline tickets for that month don't come out until March so should I wait for the tickets to come out to pick a date or send in a request to the resort right away. The only reason i'm semi nervous about getting my request in right away is that it needs to be in the middle of the month. My sister is an accountant and can't get off work the 1-8 of any month and my soon to be father in law will be out of the county the last week of the month. And we were hoping to have the wedding on a thursday. I don't want to have a weekend wedding because i fear the resort will be so much busier, but i wanted to have it near the weekend so my guests can stay and party all weekend!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
