Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

I know it sucks when emails are sent but not replied to especially when we're asking important questions. MsSmith let us know what you hear if anything. Do we have to stick with Tai Flora or is there another florist we can use? Because I hear TF is expensive.

I was looking into the vase with water and candle centerpieces as well, and sent this photo to TaiFlora and was quoted $20 plus tax each.  I am not sure if this is cheaper and easier than bringing down your own vases.  Hope this helps!

Oh Thats Awesome!! We arrive on the 28th, we hope to get a little sun before the big day! Where are you hosting your ceremony and Reception? I was looking at the pics online and can"t decide on the Cajun restaurant or Uncle Tony's... The pics of Uncle tony's looks like it would need tons of decorations to play up the space... I would love to know what you think and decided :) Congrats to you!!!

Also did you use the hair stylist at the resort to do your hair? It looks great.

Hi Ladies,

The email I received from Jodi-Ann did say the flowers are included, and can be changed if needed! So the $20 includes the whole setup in the photo as I understood it. The best way to get in touch with Tai Flora is to email Jodi-Ann directly since she is the contact person for the Suites. I emailed her this photo and she said they can replicate it just as is.  I am having a large group and transporting my own centerpieces is going to be a hassle, so I am going to go with this option.  I have emailed her to see if she can send me some photos of centerpieces they have done (since the ones the website are mostly floral arrangements).  I will keep you all posted on what I hear:)

If Jody answer re the $20 each set up the floating candle centerpiece is right, then it makes sense to just rent and have them set up the centerpieces. I was in Michael's today - tried to go find the orchids, no luck. I did see the vases and they are $3.99 each. But then I got the thinking, it sounds good to bring down the vases, but what happens when the wedding's over? We won't have any use for them then. So if Tai Flora can provide them, might as well use them.

Thanx Sharan!

Jodi-ann emailed me yesterday so now im just waiting to here back about quotes. I sent her abunch of pictures as well. Im also looking to have purple table cloths and chair sashes! A good website is wedding linens direct - i know a past iberostar bride ordered her's from there and they are a lot cheaper (even with shipping!).

That's great. We arrive at the Suites on April 27th! I just noticed your at the beach resort, so I'm not sure about Uncle Tony's. We are going to have our receptions at Aunt Ruby's in front of the beach. The reviews sound pretty good and I like the idea of having in right by the ceremony site. We'll be getting married on the beach since we're expecting a bigger group.

 Hey girls!!

Just returned from Jamaica yesterday .... will try and post a full review this week!

All I can say is DON'T WORRY .... I got married at The Beach resort and Tameica was awesome - yes she is a little overwhlemed but my husband and I were making requests and changes to our plans up until the day of the wedding and she pretty much did everything we asked and more!

As for the centrepieces ... I got centerpieces pretty similar to the ones in the photo (orchids in water with a floating candle - the vase was larger than the one shown) and i was charged a total of $35 (including tax) for the whole thing (vase, flowers, candle) .... you of course don't get to keep any of them - its just a rental. They were beautiful and worth it - I was not going to trust transporting anything there myself!

Like I said I will hopefully be able to write a full review shortly!

Brie

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
