ok, ladies..i'm almost down to 100 days and counting..O M G...the time is flying by and i have SOOOOO much to do!  i need to adopt the no problem, mon mantra NOW...cuz i'm starting to panic!  i'm trying to lose weight, finish up ALL of my DIY projects, find dresses for my daughters..finish paying off ALL of the travel for my kids AND maintain some sort of normalcy on the job when honestly, all i have on my mind is WEDDING STUFF, WEDDING PLANS, WEDDING TRAVEL, WEDDING PROJECTS...WEDDING...WEDDING..WEDDING...AND MORE WEDDING!!!

i'm reading ALL reviews...on here and on trip advisor despite the fact that i've already visited iberostar rose hall...but i'm afraid that my guests will read a bad review and it will hinder some from wanting to come...HELP!?!

i'm driving my fiance crazy with DIY projects....and logos and monograms and photography quotes and what to do with my hair..and oh what do you think of this or that....i know he just wants to SHOW up and here i am SHOWING him EVERYTHING wedding....i'm sure he can't wait for ALL of this to be over....good grief, i need to get my mind on something OTHER than weddings!!!

CALM DOWN!  First and foremost, know what you can and can not control.  Your guests are the main folks you have no control over.  I had suprised and let downs in terms of the guestlist along the way and in the end, I could not have had a better group.  Those who are supposed to be there will be there.  Iberostar is amazing and if they ready ONE bad review and back out then so be it.  Youjust imagine yourself poolside and don't let that cloud your mind.

My new role on this thread is to now encourage and push you all along the way.  YOU WILL MAKE IT TO THE WEDDING OF YOUR DREAMS!

I just got back from my Weddingmoon! The wedding at the IRH Suites was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be writing a full on review in the next couple days.

Just a couple things...Nicole and Tiffany are amazing. I don't know how to explain this, but don't be upset with them for not returning your calls or emails because they are working 24/7. You will understand when you get there.  It's more like they need more help, so I would send the complaints to the Iberostar CEO--haha.

Marcia Roberts rocks! Her and Christopher were hilarious and made the shoots a lot of fun!

Floral Fantasies was  also amazing also. I got a ton of gorgeous flowers for such a good price. delivered with no problems.

Here is a pic of the ceremony before we came down. I will try to add more in the next couple days!!!

Thank you! msnwink.gif

I was "Nervous Nelly" on and off before my departure and finally had to declare that I would not let it get to me.  I drank some calming tee at work and had to check myself a couple of times.  In the end, all that mattered was me and him and the beautiful mind-blowing love we share!

Thank you Toni!  I will do what I can!  Heck, if I could I would "escort" each bride down with a drink in hand and shoulder massages on demand just so I could get back to Iberostar!  LOL!

eholt, I'll join you in this project.  Can't believe its been 8 months since our amazing wedding at IRHS.  I also agree with adopting the no problem mon attitude.  Like many of you, I am super OCD and a control freak, which is one of the reasons I chose a DW.  Make sure you have your clothes/accessories and the rest will fall into place once you get there.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
